great little tablet, works better than the higher priced tablets, my son likes watching videos on it. screen size is perfect for him, operates smoothly.
Bought the same tab last year at this time Gave it to a friend and is still working fine It can sit 24 hours and be at 100% charge New model gets hotter on back corner and looses about 5% charge per hour sitting Looses over 50% charge over night Same setup and apps as old model Never turn them off Maybe they changed chips Both run about the same otherwise Slow to load like lower end cell fones But is more than good for price Use it on weekends than laptop Works on my cell phones hotspot Great bachup
I ordered this tablet because I needed one for my kids so I didn't want to pay alot of money for it but this tablet turned out to be better than some of the more expensive tablets I own, this tablet also comes with the keyboard which doubles as a case and it works awesome, my 4 year old has dropped it a couple times but nothing has happened thanks to that so I'm really happy with my purchase, I truly recommend it.
I purchased this tablet for use at my auto repair shop for access to Alldata while doing repairs and was impressed with how well it works. You won't be launching space shuttles with it, but for $35.00, did you think you could. It is a cheap tablet and it does everything OK. Battery life isn't great, but then again, for $35.00, who cares. I plan to buy at least 3 more because if it gets broken, I am not really out very much, and like I said, it does work well.
Love these tablets. I have bought several of these. Own two myself. One for work and one for home. For being an inexpensive tablet, this is the best tablet I've ever owned. Spent 4 times this on a tablet a couple years ago and it was not near as good. Thanks Walmart!!!!!
the battery life is straight garbage such is odd because Walmart boasts of it's battery. the when is way to easy to exit. very disappointed but the price buy two
For the price, it does work, and it does have the official Google Play Store app. That said, there are some serious negatives. For one this tablet takes a proprietary charger and will NOT charge from a USB/cellphone charger. Also, the available viewing angle on the screen is rather narrow for a modern display. It isn't readable and angles that I would expect a modern device to not have issues. The most glaring issue though, is simply the speed. If you're used to a higher end tablet like an iPad or Samsung GalaxyTab, or even a decent smartphone, this tablet is just so slow that it's unusable. It feels as fast or even a bit slower than my original Asus Transformer tablet whose battery died. That's a 5 year old device.
There is nothing spectacular about this tablet. You get what you pay for. It is simple and does the job, but the quality of the manufacturing of the tablet is what you would expect for a $35 tablet. It has screws and a crackable/breakable exterior casing. I have never seen a tablet like this one yet. Not practical for a smaller child who would likely have accidental drops or dings. Will not wear and tear very well. I actually decided to return it and look at other comparably priced tablets. The Amazon HD tablets are constructed with better quality and offered at Best Buy for around the same price just slightly few more dollars.
I purchase this tablet for my grandson for a Christmas gift. He barely uses it and it has completely stopped working . I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I tried calling for a replacement and was told return time has passed. He didn't a good month use out of this tablet. I do not recommend and I will never purchase from this vendor again. Total rip off.
Bought 2 tablets to use. Starting tablet, setting wi-fi and downloading 1 app took 25% battery. Fully charged battery depleted to less than 10% in less than 2 hrs when just browsing web..no videos, just reading articles. With all settings adjusted to maximize battery life (display set to minimum light, wi-fi off) the battery depleted in less than 3 hrs while reading kindle book. I contacted RCA about short battery life and they sent me an authorization code for warranty, but the fact that both tablets depleted at the same rate makes me think this is just the battery life. Battery life is used up faster than it charges. I returned tablets to store.
