R??DE PSA1 - Support arm for microphone

Simply a solid stand thats easy to setup. It definitely can support weight of micss in spec and I use mine for a rode podmic. If you want an arm mic, this is it. My only other consideration was an XY movement arm and will need to work with this one for a while to see if something down the road.

Moves quietly and is built well

Simple to set up. Clamp is secure and doesn't damage the desk.

Great boom arm! Strong and very maneuverable, highly recommend it for the weighty profession microphones. Ideal for the Blue Yeti.

Great boom arm, works well. Comes as a 2 piece set, the clamp, and the boom arm. The boom arm fits into the base [desk clamp] via the rod at the bottom of the boom arm and swivels due to it not being locked in via any means. It's like how you can put a ladle in a pot and swivel it around without it coming out of the pot. Only problem I had woth it is a minor scratch on the boom arm and the shipment quality was very bad. T bhm e boom arm comes packaged in its own box and then placed into a box for shipment via UPS. The outer box was clearly stepped on and left with a serious footprint embedded onto the box. (Picture sent alongside this review) Care for product delivery was clearly not met, no attention to repect of item quality was shown. Overall, poor shipment, poor care from Walmart/UPS of the quality of the item. Boom Arm itself works very well with my Shure SM7B fits like a glove. I'd suggest picking this up if you need it or are looking for a good boom arm, BUT do not order it online. They don't care how it ships, so long as it does, I'd suggest you walk in store and look on the shelves for this instead. At least then there's only Walmart to blame if there's any damages.

The microphone stand is sturdy and very well made. My son loves it!!

Just keep fighting it and it will eventually do your bidding. A constant light wrestling match.
