RDS GRAVITY FLOW FUEL KIT 2IN 11029

Received the install kit for the RDS aux fuel tank. The installation was simple and straight forward. Was curious how it would work being a gravity feed system but it worked great. During a 2000 mile trip to Arizona it function perfectly. I am extremely pleased with the product and would recommend to anyone interested in adding extra fuel capacity to the vehicle. 5 stars all the way!!! Thanks for making it so simple RDS.

Purchased this kit to install an RDS 91 gallon fuel tank/toolbox combo. Took about 15-20 minutes to install. Ran the supplied fuel line from the auxiliary tank to the supplied adapter that ties into the 2" main tank fuel fill line. System works flawlessly with no leaks. The unique "float valve" prevents overfilling the main tank while keeping the main tank full. Installed in a 2006 GMC SLE 3500 Duramax Diesel.

ease of installing, so simple. Pre-install check, would wrap threads with tape or dope prior to installing. Not necessary, just a precaution. Everything was simple and took less than 10 minutes for complete install. Short road test proves even flow of fuel and auto shut-off with no issues. definitely would recommend to friends and travelers alike.

Fast shipping. Drilled hole in bed ran provided hose. Secured with provided hose clamps.Very easy to install 5 minutes and works great.

I bought the auxiliary tank transfer kit for my diesel tank great fit and easy install about 30 minutes

I instaled the diesel instale kit yesterday and was easy to instale every thing to fit just as it was shown. I haven't put any fuel in the tank yet but I'm it will work just fine, I'm excited to have 60 extra gallons on hand now.

Installed easily on a 2004 GMC 2500HD. Only required a utility knife to cut the fill hose and a screwdriver to tighten the clamps. I had an overfill problem in the driveway of a hotel in L. A. recently though, (luckily caught it pretty quick) because the truck was sitting at a pretty good angle. So note to self, don't open the valve when truck is not parked on a level surface!

Need better directions but overall satisfied with the product. it had insufficient directions for the internal vent for the fuel hose.

After installing the kit, it was leaking diesel fuel from the inlet. It turns out the factor misthreaded the inlet port into the main fuel coupler. I had to drain down the tank, uninstall the kit, buy some thread sealer, and reinstall the inlet into the coupler before it would hold fuel. Not a huge deal for me, but the inconvenience cold have been avoided with very basic quality control after assembly.

I bought this to use on my 2004 chevy truck, I didn't realize that it was for diesel applications only, you need to make one for a gasoline application. If I hadn't already used a couple parts from the kit I would return it.
