I really liked trying the ReadyWise Simple Kitchen Freeze-Dried Cookie Dough Medley. I liked the three different cookie flavors. I do think its a bit expensive for what you get. If the package had more in the bag at the same price, I would purchase it more often.
Delicious. Not too sweet. My family enjoyed eating these and are a bit hooked at the moment. Perfect to mix up the emergency and camping supplies. You always need to have something sweet and these are great.
The expiration date for this item is 2028 which is great for an emergency preparedness kit. The packaging has a hole so I'm not going to risk eating this - not sure if it's from a bug or mishandling at Walmart. There's also sticky candy-looking residue on the packaging, making me think it's a Walmart issue.
I tried out the Readywise Simple Kitchen Cookie Dough Medley, and while I thought the cookies tasted great, I didn't like that almost all of the cookies were completely crumbled, so it was more like eating cookie bites rather than actual cookies. What these cookies have going for them though is that they did taste great. I was a bit concerned, as they were freeze dried, but they tasted like I would expect chocolate chip cookies to taste. Each package comes with two servings for a total of 220 calories per package or 110 calories per serving. These are also a really good option for anyone with certain food sensitivities, as they are gluten free, nut free and dairy free. Also, while there are a bunch of ingredients, I did appreciate that I can easily identify all of the ingredients that go into making these cookies. Overall, I do recommend the Readywise Simple Kitchen Cookie Dough Medley, but at the price point, I do think that the marketing on the front of the package should do a better job indicating that the product is more cookie crumbles rather than actual chocolate chip cookies, as I was a bit confused on what to expect based on the images on the front of the package.
I had a chance to try ReadyWise Simple Kitchen Freeze-Dried Cookie Dough Medley and I think it's great for a lightweight snack while hiking or camping. The downside is that the serving size is small for the price. It would be nice if they made it more calorie dense.
These are the tiniest cookies you can find, the contents of the whole bag could probably fit in your palm. The whole bag is less than two oz. There are three kinds of cookies and they all taste pretty good, but nothing too special. Tiny amount of tiny cookies (actual size is shown on the package), for those extreme dieters! I certainly didn't feel guilty after eating a few! Ingredients I guess are a little better than in your average cookies, but not a good deal for the price.
This item was good and taste and this item was good and taste in taste however, I gave it a three star because the bag is very very small and was too expensive for the amount that I got and also the pieces were very small and some were like crumbs. This product had a lot better flavor than I was expecting and hit the sweet tooth craving on the head, but the portion size was so small. It would be a great addition to a pack when out in the backcountry, especially because the package is small and lightweight. However for regular camping adventures, due to the cost and small size, I don't think I would purchase it.
These were pretty good. The bag was extremely small for the price. They reminded me of cereal. For me I'd rather have the real cookie dough.
These are pretty awful. The consistency isn't great. I kept wishing they were tiny baked bites instead of freeze dried.
