Pretty liner brush!!!

ekbmarci November 23, 2015

This liner brush is the nicest looking brush I've ever had...It's a cool metallic color...By the looks of it in the beginning I thought it would have some weight on it but it doesn't at all...it's so light weight..To me it's more of a chrome...not metallic...well besides being a pretty brush it works so well...I have to admit it might be one of the best angles brush I have used...the angle is so precise..and the bristles are soft but also firm enough to create a nice line...bristles are not too short but not long either...they are just right...from a distance the brush looks like a fancy pen lol...Honestly this brush is very well made...It is ideal to create a fine or bold eye look...it's also pretty easy to clean...

Great Brush

eyecandymena December 1, 2015

I love my Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection 202 Angled Liner Brush. It's the best eyeliner brush I have used. The bristles are very soft. Its gets very close to the eyelash line and works great on the lower lid too. The actual stem of the brush is a nice is sliver color and the feel is great in hand. I love using it on with the gel liner and powder liner. The best thing about the brush is there are videos you go watch on the internet. They are tutorials and show you the best tips to use your brush. I would recommend this brush to anyone who loves makeup and even beginners it is well worth the price.

Virtually Perfect Make up tool!

felipa16 December 3, 2015

The Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection 202 Angled Liner Brush is more than a make up tool, it is a work of art! It is so pretty, you will be happy to display it on your vanity. Even its packaging is sleek and ultra modern looking. My sister is a representative of a major make up brand, so I receive a ton of products from her to try out and then I let her know how an average woman, myself, felt about the product. Needless to say, I have tried out many eye liner brushes, but none of them compares to this brush. The silver metallic brush is perfectly weighted, so that when I use it, it balances nicely between my fingers. It is longer than any other brush I have used at just over 6 inches, and I worried it might be too long. But as I used it to line my eyes, I realized that its length serves to complete the tool's balance and ease of use. This brush is practically goof-proof because of its ergonomic design. Usually I am too heavy handed on my left side, which is my dominant side. This brush helped me control that impulse to lay on the shadow thicker than I should. It is a very substantial tool, yet it is so precise. The Real Techniques web site also has very brief tutorials showing how to use the tools to greatest effect. I did watch the video pertaining to this tool, but I found that it did not address my usage. I use powder eye shadow, not cream, and in order to create liner out of shadow I run the brush tip under water, then dip it into the shadow. This creates a saturated color, diminishes any flakiness, and allows me to 'draw' a fine line at the base of my lashes. However, this brush can be used to apply the shadow all over the eye, especially in the fold of the eyelid and on the inside rims. The brush is so narrow and soft and flexible it will glide around the eye lid for maximum blending of the shadows. Completing my make up routine has become faster and easier now that I have the perfect tool for my eyes!

Best Eyeliner Brush EVER!

hollanda77 January 4, 2016

I absolutely love this angled eye liner brush by Real Techniques! This is part of the “Bold Metals” collection and although I didn't get it because of the silvery chrome finish, it's one of the things I like most about it. The shiny, almost reflective finish makes it really easy to find in your makeup bag, especially when it's early and you are still half asleep. It does make the brush a bit more slippery though, so be careful not to moisturize your hands before using it. I love the angled bristles and their softness. I use a cream liner and it goes on super smooth. It even makes it easy to touch things up with the angled bristles. I also tried a less expensive cream eyeliner and its application was just as smooth as the higher end makeup. I think it has to do with the angled brush. It is also a very inexpensive brush but looks very professional. Real Techniques, the maker of this brush has their own website that you can go to and get step-by-step tutorials and learn tips on how best to use not only this brush but a ton of their other products too. It also has fun tutorials with different themes. The only thing I didn't care for was the bristles were white, which clearly didn't stay that way. I haven't been able to get them back to their original color. Wish they were dark so the brush didn't look so dingy.

Awesome Brush. Highly Recommended!

Brandywinefairy November 15, 2015

This Real Techniques Bold Metals Angled Liner brush is awesome! It was created by 2 makeup artists, and they have done a great job with this one! You can also see their tutorials on how to use it if you need to. I use this brush everyday. It is superb for eyebrows and eyeliner application, and you can also use it for eyeshadow too. It's a pretty versatile brush. It is so easy to get those "hairlike" strokes for eyebrows. It is a definite must have brush especially for brows in my opinion. It's so easy to do winged eyeliner too! This brush has very soft tapered bristles, but not too soft. The bristles are white, which I love. I can see exactly how much product is on the brush before I use it. It is very easy to clean, and I haven't noticed any shedding at all. The handle of the brush is weighted, but it's not heavy. There is just enough weight to be able to balance it while you use it, which allows you to achieve such excellent results. The handle is also in a geometic square like shape which allows you to lay the brush down on a table, and you don't have to worry about it rolling away. I'm torn between how I feel about the "metal" looking handle. I really like the look of it. It looks like a really nice, luxury type of brush. However, I don't really like the fingerprints on the handle but that's really not a big deal for me. The brush does exactly what it should, and my brows and eyeliner both look great with such little effort. I love the control I have with this brush, and it does exactly what I want... Everytime! I highly recommend it to everyone.

Perfect Eyeliner Brush

BigKid913 December 8, 2015

The Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection 202 Angled Liner Brush is perfect for beginners and professionals. I have always used an angled eyeliner brush for lining my eyes. The synthetic bristles are great for gel liners, pencil liners, and powder liner. The qualities of the bristles are very sturdy, super soft, and does not shed. The hairs are easy to clean and wash off. The size of the brush is just perfect to draw small strokes. I like these brushes more than the pointed liner brushes because you can get the job done faster and better. Since the brush has a flat tip, it is easier for beginners and quicker if you are on the go. The brush is also very thin so it helps if you like to line your eyes very close to the lash line. For thicker lines, I would go with thicker brush. The brush handle is made with metallic polish and rectangular almost like a silver chopstick. It adds a bit of shine to my brush collection and definitely looks like I have an expensive brush. Overall I would recommend this brush to anyone looking for a quality brush that is versatile and gets the job done.

Great brush for precise lining

Lexingtongranny November 29, 2015

Real Techniques Bold Metal Collection angled Liner This angled liner has soft, firm, short bristles which are shed resistant. The brush is angled to line precisely and get close to your lash line. The handle is a light, plastic in a silver/chrome paint finish. You can use this with liquid liners, gel liners and eye-shadow. I think liquid liners look too stark and harsh on us older women, so I like to line my eyes with black or dark grey eye-shadow. I just wet the tip of my brush, run it flat across the eye-shadow a few times, then apply close to my lash line. You can line as thick or as thin as you like. If you wear a pencil liner, which I sometimes do, this brush is great for smoothing and blending the liner. If you're older and have those bumps around your eyes or on your lids this is a great method to smooth and even the liner over those bumps so it doesn't look like you missed a spot. This brush would also be great for applying brow shadow to fill in those sparse areas. I really like this brush. The short angled bristles made my application a breeze. It was easy to get my liner into those hard to reach areas. This brush is washable. Just use warm water with a mild soap, rinse and air dry.

Just as good as the expensive brushes

Cassy67 October 25, 2017

It's amazing, soft bristles and it makes my gel eyeliner go on super easy! It's a gold color instead of a metallic but it still looks nice. The only downfall would be that it doesn't have a place to place your fingers to rest to make it easier to hold. Once you get use to it though it works great. I would definitely recommend!
