AWESOME!!! I upgraded from trainer and. . . . if you are considering doing the same. . . . DO IT. This is an incredible product, the sheer number of planes on it is insane. All the customizable features are great. Super easy to install, really simple setup. ALSO, not too many people know about realflight swap pages. you can download and install pretty much any plane you can think of on it. the pics are just a few of the 50+ additional planes ive installed. GET IT.

Excellent program to help a beginner. I am saving money by avoiding the multiple crashes by learning on the field.

5 Star rating is wrong... this product rates 0 stars in my book. Hoping to avoid post delete from HH bot. Now my life's mission to warn about Steam. In my humble opinion (for liability concerns, no way to predict where HH may take this battle.) 1. Steam requires a switch in search engines to install...very bad for your computing health. Not to mention an email SPAM load like you have never seen before. 2. Steam installs software that could be compared to a browser extension. Very bad as no security guardrails included. 3. Steam corrupts driver oem122.inf, preventing Windlows from implementing memory integrity (one of the processes that are require by the famous Intel core memory leaks. VERRRY BADDD and just begging for malware corruption. 4. Windlows 11 users will soon have the pleasure of diagnosing and correcting driver incompatibilities. MY newest HewPack laptop was highly offended and needed tech level repair. Some users sure to up to this repair. Expect to be a problem for Delly laptops too. Seems to be a non-issue for Windlows 10. Finally, my previous review posts have been fairly promptly deleted by HH. They even deleted all the positive reviews. I refuse to give up my warnings, and will repost as much as needed.

Real fun and you have to try this. Fly the Extra 300 in the city park and land on the moving train, then the tough part is ride the train as long as you can. Real Flight Evolution is packed full of new and exciting things to build your skill. By far the best one yet.

This has been a terrific tool for building muscle memory. You can learn to do things without consequences to the real thing. The stuff you do in the simulator absolutely translates to skills in the field. Use this one the days you can't get out and fly. Find someone to teach you and buddy box your transmitters for in the field and use a simulator in between those times and your skills will advance much faster.

Downloaded and installed through steam without any problem. Upon first run you are prompted to calibrate your controller, went without a hitch as expected. I ran the simulation running a couple planes I own and fly on the earlier RF ver9 and it runs smooth as expected with real nice detail, the added planes and fields are real nice too. Installed on an HP laptop with AMD Ryzen / AMD Radeon meeting minimum requirements which I mirror onto a 65" screen and have no performance issues with this simulation.

Downloaded and installed with no problem. Upon first run guides you to calibrate your controller which, again, went smooth as expected. Tested with a couple planes I run on the previous version and even with added graphics and features looks real nice with great detail and simulation flight behaves without any stumbles. I am running this on a win10 laptop with AMD Ryzen 3 processor and AMD Radeon graphics with minimal dedicated ram. Runs smooth, great detail and fun to fly!

I fought through the installation of this software. The instructions are clear, but it took much longer having to load STEAM and then the software. Don't expect that all these parts are going to happen quickly and seamlessly. I went out to dinner after starting the slow download of RealFlight from within STEAM, and it was done when I came back home later. It has the feel of earlier versions, so the lack of instructions wasn't a problem, but I still haven't found out how to get back to the startup screen without just restarting the software. It lacks the menu bar that sprang down from the top on previous versions. I miss that. The sim software seems to run cleanly and evenly. I have the Spektrum InterLink DX from a prior version of the software, and it works nicely. I just purchased the USB Dongle and am hoping to Bind up to my DX9 so I can use the programs and mixes I am acturally flying with. I will have to see how that works when I get it. There are a lot of airplanes and Helis there, so finding the one you want in the alphabetic list can be a chore. Sometime the brand (e-flite, blade, etc.), is in front of the name. Sometimes they aren't. A search feature would be nice here! I find a lot of airplanes missing and don't know of any way of looking for older planes that I still fly that just aren't there. I own RF 9.5 DVD version installed on my Windows 7 tower. Looks and flies great. Just purchased a Dell 17" Windows 10 laptop. RF 9.5 DVD installs and updates no hassle. A couple of members of my club purchased the Steam version, Both older gentlemen. They both battled to get the software operational. My Younger brother who is a gamer, purchased the Steam version and had not issues down loading and installing but the Interlink DX would only work after installing a USB 2 HUB. IMO: RF is not a game, but a flight simulator training tool. HH is missing the boat on the intended audience for this product. They need to forget the Steam option, and go back to a dedicated server, and/or offer a Flash-Drive or DVD version. NON GAMERS DON'T WANTS TO LOAD STEAM JUST FOR THIS PRODUCT!
