Great trainer for kids

Great sim for general flying! The interlink works better than trying to use my own transmitter. I added on all of the Add-Ons to get the full aircraft lineup and fields.

I just got this and I love it. I can still fly even if the conditions outside are less than ideal. I have three planes so far and I can refine my flying skills on this simulator. I've had my eye on other models for the future and I can fly them before I buy them. My planes fly the same on SAFE as they do in the simulator so I can fly them without SAFE with confidence. I look forward to being a better pilot by using this tool and getting an idea of how my aircraft will respond. Highly recommend.

Excellent flight simulator. Years ago, I purchased RealFlight version G5 with a Futaba controller. I had upgraded the sofware versions several times since. I have been and continue to be a frequent and satisfied user of RealFlight. When this latest Spektrum version became available, I decided to jump in. A few years back, I came over to Spektrum transmitters, receivers and servos. Using the same brand controller on my simulator just made sense. I later found that my old Futaba controller could also be used on this newest version. However, I am very pleased to have the ergonomics and tactile feel of the Spektrum transmitters I actually fly with. Most of the original list of aircraft has been kept in the collection, along with many newer aircraft now on the market. It is a great feature that the craft we fly on this simulator are programmed to respond much like the actual models we fly at the field. The big change I found with this simulator software is the expanded and enhanced flying site selection and the much improved and more realistic CGI presentation. The resolution is considerably improved over prior versions -- as is the overall flying experience. Well done! I upgraded primarily to practice my 3D flying skills. Using a simulator just makes sense when performing and practicing these very challenging maneuvers. After all, pressing the reset button after a mishap is much less tramatic and considerably less expensive than repairing or replacing airplanes. I am very pleased with this puchase and expect to regularly use this latest version of RealFlight for years to come. Highly recommended!

The item is a gift. i received LATE. The seller responded timely and corrected. Instead of anniversary it will be a christmas gift. I have yet to try, and reserve my opinion on item until then.

My previous simulator was from the Great Planes era, so I thought it time for an upgrade. I'm kind of sorry I did, at the very least I should have read the reviews online. Instead of getting a CD as before, one is forced to open an account on Steam, downloading their software first and be online whenever you use the software. Suppose that is a sign of the times but after spending 30 minutes trying to get past the CAPTCHA, I decided to take a break. I decided to try my Mac after experiencing further problems, so I downloaded the Steam software yet again, which allowed me to open an account finally. It might have been worth it if it ran on Macs, but no such luck, so I deleted it. So far it does work like the good ole Real Flight of old, but would venture to say that it is not worth upgrading.

I BROUGHT A THIRD PARTY PACKAGE at Walmart of this Real flight Simulator AND THE SOFT WARE was not in the box. And now I out of money and the bar code doesn't work .So this Christmas person does get his present or gift. Because of walmart want return refund. NOW there no money or gift. SO MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY.

steam is garbage .do not buy tis prodct since it has alot of issues with win 11 and the steam site

Rather than a CD or flash drive to install the software, there is a piece of paper with activation and download instructions. If only they worked. I was unable to download the app, even after reaching out to product support and trying on a different computer. After many failed attempts, I asked to return the controller and papers with original packaging, and was told since it is a software product returns are not allowed. An absolute waste of time and money. My experience is an absolute blemish on the previous positive experiences I've had with Horizon. I realize when I buy the cheap RC junk online, at least I have not paid premium prices, and I have not been tricked into thinking I am getting a quality product.
