I ordered these to sort my construction paper so that I can tell which color I am low on at a glance. I love these so much. My co-worker had ordered some of these over the summer and had told me how much they helped so I decided to spend the money and get some for my class. I am so glad I did. Well worth every penny I spent.
Using this mail center for student work and other papers that need to go home really helps my students be more organized. Having students put work that is finished in the mail center helps them avoid paper overload in their desks. Two teachers on my team have ordered the mail center too.
I use the mail center for student papers and mail that need to go home. The mail slots are easy to access and the built in tags make it easy to label.
I have use this as student mailboxes. They get so excited to get their mail at the end of day, plus deliver papers that need to go home. I am replacing my old mailbox system after four years.
These mailboxes were easy to put together and very sturdy. My previous set lasted for 10 years before I justgot tired of them and wanted a new design.
This mail center is exactly what I needed since I couldn't afford the wood kind. It fits a normal size paper and it's perfect for storing student work. It is a thick cardboard, so it should last longer than the thin cardboard kind.
This works great for a classroom mailbox center, but it is overpriced! It's only CARDBOARD!!!! There are some unfinished edges and the frame pulls away from the center part a little. I covered most of the outside with clear packing tape/contact paper in hopes of keeping it looking nice for a little longer. I do not feel I got good value for the price I paid. If the price was significantly lower, I'd be very pleased with this product.
I use it for student's graded papers and papers for parents from the office which go home on Wednesday's in a folder that parents sign each week. It is spacious enough. Assembly was not too difficult. Expensive for cardboard. I got it a few weeks ago and the other day noticed a tear already:( and taped it. The name tabs do not bend straight down, so I wrote their numbers on the side which correlate to their names. It is attractive and useful but again I am always amazed at how much cardboard costs. Saw a big box with slots at one of the big warehouse stores in a bin where you put your purchases and thought, I could have used that for free!
The mail center is very large. The name tags don't lay flat which make them hard to read. Unfortunately, the center broke the first week. Not happy with this product especially since it wasn't cheap.
The color of the mailboxes that were shipped to me is not at all as pictured- they are a much darker and more intense blue in person with stark white swirls and stars. Not sure if it's an inaccurate photo of what I received, or if the product used to be a different color and they never bothered to swap out the old picture but, either way, it's a bummer. The package is also very heavy, so I'm sure I'm going to be paying quite a bit in shipping and processing fees... Though I am disappointed, I did give the product two stars because if a true primary blue is what you're after, this mailbox would probably work for you. Also, the cardboard feels thick and durable, though I cannot comment as to the sturdiness of the constructed mailbox. Once I saw the color I didn't bother to set them up.
