The fit, ease of installation, and the looks of this tonneau cover is amazing! You can still use the whole bed of the truck if needed or keep your gear covered and secure.
The hard folding tonneau cover was very sturdy and slick looking on the truck. Keeps everything dry. Compliments the white and the spray in bed liner.
Once I got the side rails on and set the front it was literally already in perfect adjustment!! I never had to do a thing to it other than put it to good use.
I had a difficult time at first getting the cover to work correctly. The real truck support staff were there for me to walk me through the process. Now I'll cover works as it was intended to, and I'm very thankful to the support staff at real truck.
This cover seems durable enough for my light to moderate usage. I didn't have any issues with the installation, and it has keep everything in the bed dry so far. I would caution potential buyers that it is not built to be water proof, but should do a fine job of keeping protected items from getting swamped.
This is my second armor flex cover. The first one had for four years without any issues. This one I installed in about 1/2 hour. It looks nice, but it not as tight fitting as my last one. I have only had it for several weeks so I will see how it holds up. The price has certainly risen in 4 years
I really like the looks of the UF Armor on my Ridgeline. Install would have gone smoother if the instructions or video anywhere indicated you needed to remove the plastic inserts from the inner rails in order to slide the inner clamps into the rail channel. Once I figured that out, I was able to complete the install, but not after several frustrating attempts to get the inner rails to sit flush.
To install the brackets for mounting to the truck, you have to take the end cap off and slide the bracket into the side of the cover rail. I figured this out by looking at the PDF and saw the view of how the bracket was supposed to hold the rail.
like the cover but one of the strut retaining clips that secure the support strut when not in use broke on the second day, so now the strut just hangs in the bed of the truck. very disappointing.
While the product is a premium bed cover, the application for the 3rd generation Frontier is sub-optimal. For the cover to be properly installed and for the slam latches to operate correctly the clamping hardware needs to be at a vertical 90 degrees to the bed. I am not a newbie to this kind of thing and have a mechanical background. These clamps, installed according to the instructions, properly installed in the rails and attached to the bed rails do not permit a 90 degree angle to the bed when tightened to the specified torque. Shimming, compromise or "work arounds" should not be necessary in a produce of this quality. I called product support and was pleasantly surprised that I got a return call from a nice, competent gentleman who advised me to recheck the clamp to cover rail connection. I did and the clamps were correctly engaged with cover rails. I went to the Nissan "Frontier Forum" to see if other third generation Frontier owners were having a similar experience with the cover rail clamps and achieving a proper vertical angle on the cover rail. Forum members reported the same difficultly as I was having. In summery, this will be a great product once you guys re-engineer the cover rail clamps for the 2022-25 Nissan Frontier.
