Nice as placemats or other creative uses!
We actually wanted something to put on top of our new nightstands, and these are perfect. They are a nice off-white/ivory type color and although they would be lovely as placemats, they are also nice as an accent for surface protection on furniture. (Although in our case, we just wanted to lighten up the heavy footprint of our dark furniture a little). As soon as my husband saw them in place he said they looked really nice. (It does not look like we have placemats on our nighstands, lol.) Really nice quality, although they arrive folded in half so you have to get the crease out. The first one the crease disappeared right away, the second one I put a heavy book on it and it straightened right out.

NOT MADE FOR DINING PLACEMATS.
VERY POOR QUALITY. VERY THIN AND LOOSE WEAVE, YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THROUGH THESE MATS. I WILL HAVE TO RETURN THIS PRODUCT.
