This is a really good thin-crust pizza. I recommend preheating a pizza pan in the oven at 450° and letting the pizza thaw a bit first. Twelve minutes will give you a perfect crunchy crust! The pepperoni has a nice spice to it as well. Just a tasty little bargain for a meal (or two) under $5.
Pizza always makes for a quick meal,if on a diet, less pizza and more salad.heating up is a Little easy on the pizza crust if you butter the crust edges (whatever butter brand you trust,or a little garlic butter for extra flavor in the crust). microwave the pizza?.. maybe in small increments, but careful about sogginess or drying the crust out...some pizza places recommend a lite spray of water on the crust but a lite brush of butter works better.
This is the only pizza my autistic son will eat! Please keep these stocked! I put a little extra mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on it and he is suddenly hungry and happy. It does taste good. Our large family keeps all the Red Barron varieties of pizzas in the freezer for fast snacks, meals, celebrations etc! The price has escalated but at this point it's still a good value to keep hunger pains away.
This is my favorite frozen pizza to add additional toppings to like red/green peppers, red onion, strips of thinly sliced deli honey ham, and copious amounts of paprika and garlic/onion powders. Sure, some frozen pizzas offer those toppings, including Red Barron, but fresh is best, imo. Lastly, I recommend adding an extra minute or two to the cooking time for a little extra crispy crust and delicious golden cheese. Oh, and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top for that extra sharp cheesy bite.
I don't know what it is about these pizzas, I think they must have a decent amount of sugar in them or some other addictive substance because we have been eating them for years and I never get tired of them. I like to slightly overcook the thin crust pepperoni and it reminds me of pizza I had with my dad as a kid. Definitely recommend for pizza people!
Keep in mind that this pizza is frozen and under five bucks. We tried several brands of frozen pizza and we settled on this red Baron. I sometimes add a little bit more mozzarella cheese but overall it's pretty good compared to the others in same price range.
For a frozen pizza its not terrible. Pepperoni have good taste, but everything has that artificial taste compared to a fresh pizza. But if your in a hurry and want a cheap pizza to get family fed, this will do the trick. Doesnt take long to cook and isnt terrible, but not great either.
Red Baron frozen pizzas are my household's Go-To choice for a quick and easy meal that not only tastes great but doesn't break the bank! The most perfect way to cook them is a Pizzazz, hands down! Typically 1 pizza is enough to feed 2-3 people however if you add a second pizza and you can feed 4 mouths for under $9!
I almost always buy Red Baron pizzas, the brand is a great value compared to others. The thin crust pizza was a substitute for the classic crust, which was not in stock. The thin crust was too thin for my preference, although still flavorful. But, if you're lowering your carb intake, like I am, then a thin crust pizza is a good way to help.
Too much garlic powder and onion powder in this brand of pizza! Ate 2 pieces evening of 6/18 %26 i spent 8 hours of 6/19 on toilet. i threw rest of pizza away. Will give 2 other pizzas i have in freezer to neighbor
