I'm from the south and we love our tea. And yes, typically we love our sweet tea. But I'm extremely high risk for diabetes because of my family having so much diabetes. So close to me, including my own parents. And so I typically do not drink sweet tea. I will usually get unsweetened tea and add stevia to it. Which is a lower glossamic index in regular table, sugar? And also I can control how much sweet is in it because I do like just straight unswee. This stuff is as good as if I was to brew my own tea at home. So I do buy this on occasion when I'm just not wanting to go through the trouble of brewing it myself or since my work often has me not at home. I'll buy jug of this, but this in my truck where I have a refrigerator and I saw I have plug in. Ice chest refrigerator looking thing that I plug into the outlet in my truck. I put in one of those 2 places, and I can just remake tea in there. If I go through it faster, then a week. This stuff though, has a wonderful flavor I. Typically, get the unsweetened for you know, prevented prevention of diabetes. As I said, and it tastes just fine. The sweet version is quite nice too. It is just too sweet for my likings, and with the high risotto diabetes. I just avoid added sugars whenever I can. There's a gallon of tea for this price is very, very good. If I memorize only a little more than a dollar for a gallon of tea. And thus, you're pretty much, just paying them for the plastic and the water. And I'm okay with that. I have remade tea in this jug about three or four times i'm just using tea, bags and lukewarm water. And letting it cobrew, in the refrigerator it's worked just fine
I truly prefer the Milo's brand of unsweet tea, but Walmart no longer carries it. And I have to admit, the Milo's Zero calorie tea is awful. It tastes terribly sweet. So I like to mix together a gallon each of lemonade, sweet tea %26 unsweet tea. Since Walmart has stopped carrying the Milo's unsweet tea, I purchase this. It's very much an acceptable substitute.
This is great tea, I always get the unsweetened kind and use a half package of sweetner or none at home in a glass full. It always tastes good and fresh. Love being able to buy in gallon size as I hate to make it from tea bags. The price is good also. Have tried other brands but always come back to this one even tho its more expensive.
This is my husband's favorite tea and it wasn't in stock today when I went to Chandler Walmart. Only GV and Milo's tea was available. We don't have a lot of places to shop, so I appreciate having this brand in unsweetened — we buy about 4 gallons from Chandler Walmart a week. Plus we like to support our multiple family members who work at the local Hiland plant, who brew Red Diamond.
This is the very best tea I have tried! I hate lemon in my tea. lots of teas on the market doesn't say on the front of the label that it is inside. I've tried many brands but this is 5star for sure!
We only drink unsweet tea and Red Diamond has quickly become our favorite. It tastes better and stays fresh longer than the much more expensive teas we have tried.
I used to buy another major brand but they were out. So I decided to try this brand, and the bonus was a roll back price. I love this tea, it tastes better than the other brand, I can drink this tea throughout the day. Please keep in stock!
Decent tea but not the same as it used to be. Much weaker so I assume more water added than it used to use. I now add a quart size tea bag to each gallon.
Been drinking this brand of unsweet tea for years. The last 6 months, it's been tasting like it's been sitting out at room temp for a week. And I know what that tastes like, because I've left it sitting out. And tried it:
I bought this item on November 19th to take to some friend's house for thanksgiving. After they poured 2 glasses of it, they came and asked me if I had frozen it and of course I said no and asked why. They brought me the jug and the expiration date on it was October 9th!!! I was so embarrassed!!!! This is not the first time that I have gotten bad tea but for it to have been something that I was taking as a guest to someone else's house was beyond embarrassing!!!
