Red Heart Granny Square 250g Soft White - Pink Punch

Wanted to try this and so bought it after I seen some reviews on YouTube and people having issues. Leave 4” tail at the beginning of project once you figure out what hook size to use to get the results it goes very easy and makes really nice granny squares. I’ve also tried making an African flower granny square out of it as well that turned out well as well. It can be used for other things besides granny squares. I’m making a dog sweater in the soft white/citrus one and I’ve done the African flowers in color soft white pink punch. I’ve had very little issue getting the color changes. Depending on if you work tighter with stitches or looser will depend on what hook size you’ll require. I get the same results with the hook they recommend and the next hook size up. Of your experience in crocheting or knitting you shouldn’t have to much problem working the color changes

I loved it and bought a lot them come short of one and now can’t get it in my Walmart. Was true sad when they stop carry it. Now I can’t finish my items 🙃😔😞

i’ve had a lot of fun with the all-in-one Granny. I’ve bought almost every color but a lot of them are out of stack. I was able to work it up easily. I found it pretty easy to use the miracle circle. Loved working with Sweetheart granny square yarn - 5 colors and NO knots! I got 14 squares from one skein and they paired perfectly with 14 plain squares to make a large baby blanket. It was easy to pick a coordinated color because the granny square colors are listed on the wrapper. I used a 4.5 mm hook to maintain proper gauge. Great product.

I would recommend watching a video for tips on using this yarn. I learned that tension and hook size needs adjusted in a few areas to ensure the yarn changes colors at the right time. Squares come out exactly as described making just a few adjustments.

It's perfect and I can't wait to see the final product. It's discontinued so I ordered more every time I'm ordering other things just so I have enough for any future projects.

I love this yarn! I have only 4 out of 5 stars because if your gauge is not consistent and spot on you will have to frog and try again a time or two. But it’s super convenient and the colors are awesome. Some I never would have thought about, which is why I like Like That the colors are already picked for you!

Really enjoyed this yarn and the colours I chose, “Soft White Shadow” and “Black Dove” which I used to create the squares for the Yarnspirations pattern, Cozy Granny Cardigan. They look great together! I gave the yarn four stars rather than five because using this yarn to create granny squares is not simple. You have to have a knowledge of tension, and have tricks up your sleeve, like changing the size of your hook, etc. With almost each row of every square within the same skein of yarn, I was playing yarn chicken and undoing and redoing the stitches. That is the price you pay for not weaving in ends. So be warned!

This yarn is soft and the color that I bought is lovely. However, the process of making the granny squares was a total disaster. I spent more time ripping out and re-stitching that I have ever spent weaving in ends. Additionally, the varied tension required to get the rounds round correctly led to a rather curled up edge. I am now using the yarn to make a corner-to-corner lap blanket. It is crocheting like a standard ombré or stripe yarn.
