Red Heart® Learn Crochet Kit

part of the kit is missing thr place holders the guage and the needles were not in the kit

It's very simple, it explains what you ate doing well. Has a few cute patterns to practice with. Shows both left and right handed so it is definitely helpful if your trying to teach kids who use either hands.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I needed circular knitting needles for a project. This kit contained exactly what I needed, & more. Perfect for the beginner knitter. Some of the ‘circular knitting needles' had poor reviews, thus my decision to purchase this. Happy with the product.

This was just what I needed to learn different stitches. The directions are printed separately for left handers which I appreciate. Also the pictures are clear to illustrate how stitches are supposed to look. I will be referring back to the common abbreviations in my future projects. Besides the book several useful tools are included.

I have used this product before. I have purchased this item multiple times, with different patterns. Each time I've used it, I have loved every design that they have. I use my own colors that I purchased. And the patterns still come out beautiful. I have used different size hooks. The darning needles, in my opinion, Are not big enough for my yarn to go into so I wind up having to use bigger ones that have bigger holes because I sometimes use a size 5 or six yarn that's more puffy. The book is basically Beginners are not big enough for my yarn to go into so I wind up having to use bigger ones that have bigger holes because I sometimes use a size 5 or six yarn that's more puffy. The book is basically Beginner friendly, but I'm pretty skilled and don't really need to use this book, but I do enjoy what patterns they have. Depend depending on projects I am between a beginner to an intermediate or an intermediate to almost an advanced. And I hope that if you're trying this out for the first time, I hope it works for you. Have a wonderful day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never crocheted in my life and decided to order this kit during one of the Red Heart sales! It's literally perfect for beginners! There are a few different hook sizes with a measurement tool for hook size. Anyone who is also a visual learner like myself, it's a great starting point! I didn't love the book as much...the patterns were a little to complex for a newbie like me but will be great to refer back to when I get my skills up!

Where was this handy book when I was starting out in crochet. I originally learned the basics from my Mom like 40 yrs ago and most of the advance techniques I taught myself and sometimes I still need to brush up on the basics and this kit helps with just that and it gives you a couple patterned projects to boot. Definitely recommend for beginners and anyone who does crochet to keep for reference.

This kit taught me how to crochet visually really well! I am very pleased with the product I bought!

I brought this to share with a crochet group for children that I have recently joined. This will be perfect for them, it has all the accessories that they will need.

very good starter kit for corchet
