Book was well written. The instructions are clear but sometimes confusing. Could just be the process of knitting. My daughter loves learning to knit also!

Perfect to learn to knit
I know how to knit but I seen this and I wanted to see the simple patterns and get the supplies that come with it. It's really nice large pictures easy to read and understand I think this is a great learn to knit booklet.

Finally figured how to knit/perl
It would ve better if the patterns only called for the regular knitting needles, or if the kit included a set of straight needles and circular needles, as many of the patterns call for them, but that I finally figured out how to get the pretty knit on one side and the perl on the other is a good start. I will keep practicing until I figure out the other kinds of needles.

handled poorly, book seems nice otherwise
purchased as a gift, and I am disappointed that the book and clear pocket arrived bent. it's creased and sloppy looking. just a poor presentation for a gift! the book, however, seems to contain easy to follow, clear pictures and instructions for beginners.
