nothing wrong with this yarn!, my wife crochets and makes blankets and winter hats for me with it, it is soft and keeps me warm. I run them down to the laundromat often to keep them clean and they never stretch out or get ruined. the wife says that it is comfortable to work with and I love it!!
I'm used about 25 of these of this product and that along with some other yarn that I've had given to me I had a total of 67 balls or skis or we call it and now I have made about 400 hats. These hats are to gift to homeless people so I'm satisfied.
This yarn is best for Afghans and such. I did make a sweater out of it and it's very heavy. It's what I wanted but some people like their sweaters lighter. Beautiful color❤️
LOVE this speckled yarn! Mixing it with the solid colors makes a totally 'new' look for my 'old' patterns!! Have bought every version of the speckled colors and ALL have added new dimensions to the old patterns.
the yarn is very pretty, I made a baby blanket out of it. very soft , looked great. will buy again
This yarn is more like cotton than acrylic, so it's perfect for projects you don't want very stretchy. Also, it's great for double-yarn projects because it's slightly thinner than average medium 4 yarn. The only complaint is that it "feathers" easily, so you have to slow down a bit with your stitches.
loved the speckles of color with the blue. I was surprised at how scratchy the yarn felt since it has always been much softer in the past. I hope this is a once only since Red Heart is a brand I have always liked
the color is awesome. the yarn is stiff and difficult yo work with, but completed projects look fantastic with the colors blending very well together. iIf someone requests that same color, i would get it again for the final result. otherwise i would use a different color/yarn.
I ordered several multipacks of this yarn. All packs had the same dye lot %231955. i had gotten through a pretty big project and only noticed after the piece was complete that the yarn was not the same color. I frogged the whole thing and restarted with the darker version because it appeared I had more of it. Finished the piece, and it looked okay. I started the next panel for the project and finished one skein and joined another. This yarn is even darker than the one I restarted with on the first piece. I checked my first piece again, and there it is, another mismatch yarn. At this point, I'm not even redoing it anymore. It'll have to be what it is because I have more pieces to go before I complete the project. I do not recommend this yarn! You can not tell the difference in color until you have worked it into stitches for many rows. The dye lots are not accurate for this yarn.
I thought when it said 2 ok that the price was for a two pack so I ordered what I thought was a was two 2 packs but when received invoice stated was for 14.00 dollar each. bottom line was very deceptive advertising from Walmart's vendor. Be careful there are less than truly honest companies out there. If Walmart's vendor wants to talk about connect via the order
