I have used red heart yarn for many years for some projects. It is a great value, and they have the absolute best color choices. Unfortunately the yarn tends to be very scratchy, It does wash and dry well, and that will help soften it.

The yarn is exactly what I expected but I was sent 2 different dye lots making my blanket somewhat strange.

Purchased 1st skein in store. very nice color %26 quality. Ord 2nd online, arrvd promptly BUT several strands are torn, knotted, very tangled. Inspection reject. I miss Joann's.
