Red Heart Super Saver Ombre Yarn-Deep Teal

I have bought Red Heart before and was always happy with the quality. I have bought this particular color before when I was crocheting a poncho, the yarns thickness is pretty consistent and handles being unraveled numerous times pretty well without shredding. Also another thing I appreciated about this brand is as I am working I don't come across those annoying knots that you have to struggle to undo..actually I came across a couple but they were not actually knots but just yard that got gnarled up so undoing it was not too vexing. Surprisingly Red Heart is one of the recommended brands for crochet and knitting and the price is not too overly bad and if you are starting out on knitting or crochet having a yarn that stands up to frequent undoing of rows (at least in crochet) then this might be something to consider.

The condition of the product when it arrived was in excellent condition. When I opened the box my order looked as if I hand picked it from the store. I was updated on the shipping every step of the way so I could make sure my items arrived safely and in the right place, which they did.

I am doing an older pattern and I needed that apple green. It saved me from having to go to eBay or Amazon sent me one. That's the wrong colors but Walmart got it right thank you.

I only crochet with Red Heart Yarn ever since my Mother-In-Law taught me how to crochet Afghans and since I was Confirmed into the Catholic Church, I crochet Afghans for the Ministry of Caring, Inc. since every year since 2019 to help feed the less fortunate so, I need the best yarn to do this. I am able to put my hobby into good use.

I love this yarn for so many reasons. Be aware that it is thinner than regular Red Heart and other yarn of the same "weight". It can tend to separate, but I am aware of that because I have used it for several projects now. The gradual change in color is perfect for larger items like shawls, afghans or coverlets. I have used some blues and greens in a gentle wave pattern and really enjoyed working on my "beach" afghan in the winter.

I like the brand very much as a crochet beginner as the yarn is not expensive and easy to be hooked, smoothly off the hook. Lot of colour options available as well.

The color is very pretty. I loved the overall color and feel and quality of the yarn the only pit fall was there were several knotted pieces of yarn throughout. The pieces of yarn were actually tied split and tied together which I found annoying. Otherwise, it was a good buy.

The color is very rich. Why I purchased it for my project. However, it has turned my fingers blue. The dye is not stable. I’ll finish my project, but I’m hoping it doesn’t run and ruin all my work when I wash it. Will post more after I complete my project.

Ordered 10 skeins of this yarn. They came from 4 different locations. Because of dye lots being different, none of the colors match, and are different shades. They are unusable for the blanket I was going to use it for. When I try to do a return, they will only give me $.92 for each skein when I paid $8.47 each with the tax.
