Red Heart Super Saver® Pooling™ 4 Medium Acrylic Yarn, Papaya 5oz/141g, 236 Yards

My grandson chose this yarn for his blanket. I paired it with a red and it looks amazing. And it is extremely soft to touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used pooling yarn in a while, but it was fun when I did. This color way is gorgeous and cannot wait to start a new project with it. Most likely a scarf, or some squares to make a crazy afghan.

I love to knit, crochet, and craft. I can always count on Walmart to have Red Heart yarns, sland I can always count on Red Heart yarn to be quality at w reasonable price.

Made hats on a knitting machine with this to donate. I kept the hat. It came out so cute! The hat was colorful as soft. Maybe the next skein I'll donate.

I love this color way. It's so pretty and fun to watch work up. The yarn softens up a lot when you wash it. Not the most amazing quality yarn by any means but it gets the job done for the price

The colors are pretty, but the yarn tends to separate maddeningly regularly on the crochet hook. Best suited to fiber art projects that don't use a hook or needles.

Didn't have 6 shades as others did so pooling not as easy as with 3 other colors I've done plaid scarf with. Very frustrating

Great bright colors. This is NOT a good yarn for planned pooling. Having tried many times to create the argyle pattern, they were epic failures. The colours together to get a good pattern.

Red Heart Yarn used to be made in Turkey, %26 the quality was great, one of the better acrylic yarn products; a few years ago they started making it in India, %26 there's NOTHING good about it! The worst is the 'feel' of it; it used to be soft, but now feels like I'm using cheap ROUGH TWINE or RUG YARN! Sadly, I am forced to change yarn brand for my projects %26 will have to pay more for it. Caron %26 Bernat make very good yarn but are more costly; JoAnn's store brand Big Twist is soft, so I use it more now, as well as Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn - even Walmart's Mainstays Yarn is MUCH BETTER %26 SOFTER than this!! I love making hats, scarves, cowls, gloves, mittens etc. for the children on my grandmother's Rez, where it gets bitterly cold; shipping is costly too, but I manage. I do not want to send crappy cheap rough things to these very poor children, I feel like they deserve NICE SOFT GOOD THINGS!! Yarnspirations: WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR BELOVED RED HEART YARN?? I grew up using it, crocheting next to my mother for many decades; I would gladly pay more for my skeins, if you get your quality back!!
