When I brush the just out of the oven hot biscuits with the herb butter they taste just like the hot cheddar biscuits served in the restaurant. The difference is I can eat them in my jammies. I love that I can make whatever quantity I need (1, 2, or all 8) and the rest stay frozen for later use. These are ready to put in the oven and they bake beautifully from a frozen state.
Delicious quick choice for any meal! Just pop in the oven for 15-25minutes depending on how many you need and melt your butter with the packet provided and spoon a little on each biscuit after they are cooked. No mixing or stirring! Quick Easy and Tasty Delicious!
We hope Red Lobster will continue to make and Walmart will continue to carry these biscuits. So many of the other Red Lobster foods have gone by the wayside. We tried most of them while we could. Some were good but just too expensive for what you got. Maybe that's why they disappeared, but we do miss the biscuit-coated shrimp! All that seems to be left are the biscuits, either frozen or boxed mix. When it originally came out years ago, we tried the box mix. It was good, but they never did bake up right. When the frozen biscuits came out, they were a game changer. They're easy. We cook however many we want. They taste just like the restaurant. In short, they're a staple at our house.
These are so easy, and fast, and amazing! Seriously, BUY THEM! Or actually, don't, so there's more for me lo Yes, they are THAT good. They have great texture, not of that almost doughy that canned breakfast biscuits often have unless you almost burn them, the outside is very lightly crisp, the inside so soft, and the seasonings you mix with butter to brush on them... It is incredible. One bite of these, and you're hooked. I never knew it was so easy to get to heaven. just take a bite!
I use these instead of dumpings in my pressure cooker. I just place them on top of the soup or stew, pressure cook and they thicken up the juice, no need to thicken the liquid. Tastes great and I call that dish a pot pie. Very versatile and delicious. I buy them on a regular basis. This is not a paid review.
These "homemade" biscuits are delicious! They could have been purchased from a brick and mortal Red Lobster. Whew! The cost of these, compared to going out to dinner to get them is $4 vs $75. BIt's wasier to stay within my budget and still eat like I'm rich!
for the price and the fact that they come frozen, they are extremely good and taste very close to the ones that you get in the restaurant they are not 100% exact but then again what is definitely worth the money and affordable instead of going to the restaurant if that's what you're craving
These biscuits are a great shortcut when you are craving that classic Red Lobster flavor at home. They bake up soft, fluffy, and buttery with that cheesy garlic taste that makes them so hard to resist. The smell alone while they are baking is enough to make everyone wander into the kitchen. They come out warm, golden, and taste surprisingly close to the restaurant version. Five stars for being easy to make and dangerously good alongside almost any dinner.
Not sure what I did wrong but it wasn't like getting the warm cheese and garlic biscuits. Spit into separate meals and the second batch was much better. I believe the butter you use can affect the results. Didn't have but a BBQ brush first try and tried just using a spoon to coat. In the second batch I used the brush as recommended and had much better results. If you miss your Red Lobster Biscuits you must try atleast once. I know that I will try again, but follow directions instead of thinking that I could cut corners. Wish it had more Biscuits or bigger box. You won't regret it, just follow the directions.
I really wanted to enjoy these Red Lobster biscuits, they are my favorite meal at the restaurant! So easy to make...just put on baking sheet and bake... but oh such a bland tasteless taste! The texture was awful, I think the box would have tasted better! I had to throw them all away! What a shame.
