This is the real thing! It looks, tastes and smells like village palm oil. It's difficult finding the real thing in the US. Up until now I had to buy a gallon and bring it in every time I visit home. Or travel to New York City or Maryland to buy it from an African Store. Even that doesn't guarantee you would get something fresh or authentic. Now I can get it online with free shipping.

Sticky in the mouth, no matter how much I hitted it. Very unpleasant.

I have been buying and using this oil for a while but I don't know what happened to the last one I just bought. It was smelly, when I poured it into a bowl it was foaming on top. I don't know how long this has been in their possession and I hope this doesn't continue to happen. I had to throw away and get the store one. I will still give them a try again and if there are no changes and I will gladly say bye bye. So I am giving a one and will review it again with the next purchase.

I've bought this palm oil twice. I struggled to use the first one. The oil separates into two layers, the upper part showing lighter oil, kinda mixed with groundnut oil. The taste suddenly changed as soon as this separation began to occur. I had to discard the remaining as seen in the picture.
