Red Tails (DVD) Widescreen

I needed this for my Black History Month unit for my 8th grade English class. It arrived in plenty of time, in perfect condition, and my students loved the movie.

Great cast. The movie Red Tails is about a group of pilots that were given outdated planes to fly, when their commander went it front of the Army Air Corps Command, the group was finally upgraded to P-51 Mustangs. The nick name Red Tails came from how those P-51s were painted. They became the best "Little Friends" and protectors of B-17 bombers

I'd seen this movie once, and had asked my husband (the WWII movie buff) about it; he told me about the group that were actually known as the Redtails, about their standings in the air war, and so i looked it up online and ordered it. Good movie; good acting, good cast, good price.

It was something I wanted and was available thru Walmart. Com, would have been difficult to just find in the store since it is a older movie and not readily available, sometimes but not always

This is a Great Movie that helps to give one a greater sense of understanding of just what our "Famed Tuskegee Airmen" had to go through and put up with in order to become the Highly Decorated Squadron they proudly became. I truly have much more appreciation for them and the highest regard of Respect for them! Thank you for a Job Well Done!

I missed this when it was at the show so I bought a copy when it was released. I thought the computer generated images were excellent. I liked the fact that there were scenes with the new German jets. I watched it several times the first week I had it!

There is nothing to dislike about this product and the movie or DVD itself. Great product and great movie.History

Have wanted this dvd for a while and found it at a price I could not resist.

Good to have this movie and the other one about the same African-American airmen.

Poor viewing quality i would not recomend this movie c dvd to any one
