You might better off with a heavy blanket.
The mat is kind of cheaply made. The filling materials are very light and seem to be delaminating inside the bedroll. The matt doesn't provide much in the way of cushioning either. It's not something made to sleep in for more than a night or light nap. If you're looking for something to add cushion to your cot, use a heavy blanket.
