Stock tires, stock gearing, stock suspension let this truck climb VERY well right out of the box. Drive-train ,frame, and body fastening all show Red Cat's continued expertise at a correct design for a specific purpose (the truck uses a hinge and Velcro system...no more lost pins scratched bodies (Really dislike those little clips used in almost all RC vehicles) Electronic are rock solid...no pun intended...I continue to buy RedCat because all the vehicles I have purchased continue to run perfectly. The few issues I've encountered have been resolved by an EXCEPTIONAL customer service dept. . If you are going to buy your first crawler this is the vehicle to own

One of the best RC trucks I have ever had! Only second to my Ascender K5 Blazer because of the Blazer body... Other than that the Redcat truck has everything a crawling enthusiast would want, beadlock rims, Super Swampers, body tilts back, roll cage that stiffens the body, waterproof electronics. I can go on and on. Point is , for $200 you cannot find anything in this quality or level of crawling that the Redcat can handle. Go with the Pro so you get the roof rack, fender flares, scale accessories etc. Its a bargain! Very happy, my Redcat Pro keeps up with all the greats and even beats some on the rocks..

Outstanding rig for the money. Lots of power and looks great. Could use a little help with the turning radius. But over all you can't go wrong with this truck.

Truck came with a bad transmitter (at first redcat thought it wasa bad reciever) so immediately after unboxing and charging the battery i tested the truck in my living room to find out it wouldn't steer. I then contacted redcat tech line fille followed the testing and was told they would send a rx waited 15days hooked it up. Same problem called the tech again they said will send tx 10days later tested and it was fine put 3batteries of dirt, sand , rocks and climbing everything at the local school yard playground IT'S AWESOME especially for the $ it's true the steering lock isn't enough but with all the videos out on how to fix it shouldn't be a problem

To start out the wheels do not hold enough pressure to go up anything, the suspension is really bad not soft at all, the Velcro that holds down the body sucks, the battery takes four hours of charging for no results
