The protein is great. But unless you go somewhere where you can actually find it, you're not getting any… Unless, of course, you like strawberry shortcake. It's a bad look, Redcon1. You guys have been out of product for a long time. Not sure what's going on.
The best in the business. There is no better product out there for men and women who take their protein seriously than this. It is a must buy! I have been buying this for years now and have been beyond impressed. My workouts are better. My shakes are better and my health is better. There is no other product that comes this close and the results for this supplement speak for themselves. It is spot on and on the nose for what I needed.
The flavors are great. My wife loved the Red Velvet. I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake and am addicted to that. The Strawberry Shortcake was a little off due to it had no sugar, but I did add just a little bit of sugar to my shake and it's fantastic. Every night just before bed I mix me up a shake and I don't wake up super hungry in the mornings. Highly recommended.
The only one available was strawberry and it is terrible. It tastes like chemicals and very strong. I'm guessing they can't sell it so they made it the only option at the time. Will not buy again but I do like the banana and the peanut butter cookie. Stuck with three containers of strawberry.
I like how easy it dissolves in both hot and cold liquids. I can go from a cold protein shake with fruit and yogurt to a night time espresso and hot almond milk for a hot chocolate. It's a bit sweet, which is not a bad thing but sometime cutting it with yogurt tempers that. That being said, the flavor is good with no residual after taste and for someone where chocolate is not normally my go-to protein, this one will stay in the rotation. The only reason I marked it good and not great is because it's so sweet. However, since giving up sugar, most things taste especially sweet to me.
This used to be my absolute all time favorite protein powder, even across flavors but specially the banana nut flavor. But after the recipe change and the cou zigzag answers from redcon with initially saying there was an anomaly in production before admitting after hard questioning that they did in fact change the recipe to inferior ingredients, and no straightforward response as to whether or not they'll go back to the original recipe has changed me from a lifetime customer, as I will be looking for a new powder. Heartbreaking as to this was literally the best powder on the market
I don't know what they did, but the new recipe tastes really bad. I ordered six tubs, and they were all bad. At first, I thought it was the milk, but it wasn't. It tastes like chalk, and I had different flavors from all six, but they all taste the same. I hope they change it back soon because I'm not going to buy any new tubs until they do.
Strawberry shortcake was the only flavor available and it taste terrible. Very disappointed and a waste of money. I've only made one shake with it and I'm probably going throw it away. It's an unfortunate because I could have ordered chocolate off Amazon but I'm not always confident that I'm getting the same product on Amazon.
Don't buy, they changed the formula and its absolutely horrible now. I've been drinking protein for almost20 years and have some bad stuff and MRE lite went from on of the best to the absolute worst. Litterally undrinkable, and I can drink raw eggs. . . sad end to this company. If the package says lactose free and the lid is smooth with no ridges around the edge than it is the new horrible formula.
I've been buying MRE Lite for two years. They recently changed the product. It does not taste the same, mix the same, or have the same texture and consistency as the previous blend. Also the ingredients and macros on this product is slightly different from the old one. Overall very disappointed. The new version is basically undrinkable for me. I guess my wife can use it for baking.
