REDCON1 MRE MEAL REPLACEMENT (7IB)- Strawberry Shortcake

Easy to go down, great flavor, mixes well with oatmeal, pancakes, cream of rice/wheat, no bad after taste and overall just an excellent product for the price

I've been using MRE Lite for close to a decade and have seen side really great results. Cooks me up and is low calories that works with my weight loss.

Ordered cookies and cream. Definitely is my go to. I love the flavor profile. I find it easy to digest. My runner up would be the strawberry shortcake.

My families favorite flavor and protein. It mixes really well without feeling granular or clumpy. Easy to drink and the flavor is amazing with chocolate milk

Recon one is the best product for protein carbohydrates and calories I love it I've trained hard and it is one of the focal points of my training. Hopefully one day that I can be sponsored by you guys.

I got this MRE due to it felt my metabolism kicked into over drive and I was waking up super hungry even though I had a full course dinner the night before. I have tried the Strawberry Cheesecake MRE and that flavor is extremely spot on! So when I decide to do a bigger quantity and it was on sale, their was only 2 flavors Waffles and Syrup or Blueberry Cobbler. So I got Blueberry Cobbler and that flavor is my absolute favorite. I used to eat Blueberry oatmeal for breakfast when it was in stock and this flavor tastes exactly like it. I started taking this shake at night before bed and I have not been waking up starving ever since. I just ran out and when to order another and it was already out of stock. I just checked again while writing this review and its still out of stock, so I will have to try another flavor and I'm sure I won't be disappointed in the flavor. I've been telling my family and friends about this product and I super highly recommend it if your not getting all the nutrients from your daily meals.

Taste is okay but I don't use it for the taste I use it for the gains. I have noticeable muscle gain compared to other meal replacements.

Great taste and quality. Still gives you crazy gas and Super thick.

MRE is my go to for protein shakes. However, I am confused by the "New and Improved" version. I fail to see how it is new and improved if the new version actually is providing less protein, less carbs, and less caloric value per serving than the previous version. All the while paying at least the same price. What is new and improved about it? Please break it down for me.

I've used this product daily for 18 months. Since my last order something with MRE has changed, and not in a good way. The consistency, flavor, texure, even the way it mixes and the volume - is bad now. Redcon was kind enough to replace the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip I purchased through their Amazon storefront, citing a flavor discrepancy from a manufacturer, and sent me Peanut Butter Cookie. Unfortunately, this has the same problem. In the photos (new on the left), you can see how much it's changed in appearance and volume (flavors are different FYI). It mixes as though it's watery now, like certain ingredients were removed or replaced. And the nutrition facts show the protein % daily value has changed from 94% to 44%, but still at 47g (this is the only way I've found to verify the old recipe from the new). Sadly, I'll have to find a new whole food protein poweder - I cannot recommend anyone buy this anymore.
