I use it first, after blow drying to add some height, texture and dimension to my cut. This is a great product to use first, followed by a heavier paste product that I use sparingly to 'pop' some areas or slick down the sides that require a stronger product.

If you're looking for a medium hold paste without stickiness, this is a perfect product. The price is higher than it ought to be.
