Excellent fresh flavor and quality. This is an incredible find amongst the bland options in the freezer section. The cilantro really stands out and adds a great profile to this already wonderful burrito. 5 huge stars and thanks Red's for making 'em!
These are the best! You love cilantro? These are for you! Walmart please bring a value pack. Reds makes packs. I have had them from other stores. Of course adjust your cooking according to your oven/ microwave. I tend to heat mine more than suggested for perfect cooking.
Approximately 6 years ago, I was looking for a competitors burritos at a supermarket out of town and came across these and although I wasn't familiar with Red's Burritos at the time, I went ahead and bought a couple of the Organic Chicken, Cilantro and Lime Burritos and a few others to give them a try. I felt fairly confident that I would like them since they don't use GMO ingredients, no preservatives, and their chickens are organic free range … essentially, Red's sounded like exactly the kind of company that I could trust and best of all, these burritos are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Needless to say, I no longer buy any of the competitors burritos and Red's has become a household favorite that we buy weekly because it's imperative that we ALWAYS have a a bare minimum of six in our freezer at all times. I highly recommend trying any of the many Red's Burritos available and if you have difficulty finding them (like I did originally) I suggest asking your local supermarket to carry them… that's what I did and now all the stores in my area carry Red's 😍
As with steak burrito, more crust than filling and crust is firm. Very bland, couldn't taste lime, I added some spices. While quick and well-priced, no substitute for freshly made burrito at California Tortilla. I haven't tried any other frozen versions, so can't compare oranges with oranges.
I'll start out by saying that my son was obsessed with these as a little kid, and they're quick and easy to heat, have nice flavoring (but not spicy), and love that they have organic components. We still eat them, this is one of my personal favorite flavors. That being said, it seems they don't have as much filling as before - or maybe they are using a larger wrap, which results in more of those gummy/tough microwaved wrap areas vs less actual meat and filling. Something's changed since we first discovered them. Would love more filling inside in any case.
it HAS flavor, and I would prefer it to any other one I've tried, but frozen burritos just can't be made to NOT be dry huh? May never happen. Plus it needs more filling. But overall, no, I will never buy it again. Maybe add salsa and it's good for a very SMaLL, QUiCK bite!
I was really disappointed in this. The chicken was a slimy paste. Didn't taste good at all. I prepared it in the air fryer as directed and to the temperature required. Threw it away after two or three bites. Waste of money. Will not repurchase.
I did NOT RECEIVE my (3) Red's Organic Chicken, Cilantro and Lime Burrito, 4.5 oz, 1 Count (Frozen), but was charged for them.
Idk what happened but these things use to be double the size these should be like $1.25 or make them bigger again…
It was like a beige puree bursted out when I tried to cut it in the middle. There was only a hint of chicken and what tasted like engineered spices. There was no cilantro. I did see some tiny green specs. So what you're buying is a beige purée inside a soft taco. Their package is very appealing but don't be fooled. How little must these companies think of their customers.
