I got my Reebok RB8688 boots back in 2014 through my place of employment, The Schwan Food Co. By far they are the best and most comfortable work boots I have ever worn! I had used them for about a year on the job, I retired in 2015 and put them on a shelf in the closet. I discover them again this year when cold weather hit, put them on and they felt as good as when I first bought them! These boots are a winner and I can highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks again! Mikel H.
The rapid response with side zipper have been the first pair of boots I have kept for a whole year. The comfort is beyond all previous boots and side zipper is awesome in the am for quick off/on. Best pair of boots I have ever ever worn. Way to go Reebok!! I have been in the repair industry working in busy shops for 30 + years. I will be ordering my next pair soon Thank You Lee E
Very comfortable and true to size. Great value for the money. Love the side zip for easy on and off. Waterproof is good as it was tested in the rain.
I work an extremely wet environment on hard steel decks. Nothing is waterproof here. These boots stay dry longer than any non-rubber boots I have owned. I have had various foot injuries in the past and had a hard time finding the right boot. With an addition of a "super" insole I never think about my feet at all.
size is true with 12 wide. Comfortable but stiff. Will take a while to break in. Disappointed that the zippers on the side don't open wide enough to slip off the shoe without untying the laces as advertised. But, it seems like it will make a good outdoor shoe.
these were purchased for work and have been used in rain, snow, and slush already in the first 2 weeks of use. They are a little stiff but getting better every wear. Waterproof as advertised. Good value and am happy with purchase
Heavy. I own several pairs of tactical boots by different brands. These are by far the heaviest of them all. I had to cut/trim a piece of material from the inside of the zipper as they rubbed against my ankle and eventually became painful to wear. Trimming helped but still an issue. Ive worn them three times for my courier job. By the end of my shift Im in pain. They look great. I get many compliments, its just not worth the agony. I no longer wear them.
This boot is very uncomfortable for me to wear. There is too much material folded behind the zippers. It rubbed the inside of the ankle raw. It would be a very good boot if the flap behind the zippers was not too thick.
great boots only problem I'm having is the fit. The zipper side rubbing on the side of my ankle.
I was really wanting to like these boots. They look really good, they are light, and feel well made. The problem I have jumped right out at me the moment I put them on. The darn things are way to small. The length is right. They are way to narrow for my feet. The crazy thing is that I ordered the wide size. I hate to see what they would feel like with a normal with. My toes are constricted, the sides of my feet are sore within a few hours from the inserts pushing on them, and i cant lace them very tight without a ton of pain. I tried to give them a while to break in, and they got a little better, but not enough to justify continuing using them. Unfortunately, my attempt to give them a chance caused me to be out the cost of the boots, plus getting a new pair. Quite a bummer. Maybe my feet are abnormally large, but I have no such issues with most other brands. If Reebok is reading these, look to other makers like Bates, First Tatical, Merrill, and review how they size boots in equilivant products.
