the smaller the better
The problem with artichoke hearts is the tougher outer leaves. THIS SIZE and BRAND are the most reliable...TO ME.... when it comes to NOT having a bunch of tough leaves. The smaller the artichoke heart...the more tender the leaves. I kinda like these because they are "whole". I just cut them up if I want them otherwise.... ME? I take the can and drain it til ALL the liquid is out, and then put the artichokes in a glass jar with your preferred italian dressing. You choose. I use the glass 'ball' jars for canning. That way--- they are! ready to go, all marinated, for whenever. They keep that way in the fridge for way more than a week. I ALWAYS have a can in the house.

So many artichoke hearts are tough and stringy. These are perfectly tender. They're the only brand I will continue to buy.

Favorite to add to multiple recipes
i enjoy adding these tender artichokes to many dishes. They add flavor and make a dish special. A little pricey, but worth it.

good product BADLY DENTED AND DIRTY
this product is good BUT this time around the can arrived super dented and filthy! i think walmart stores are sending out the stuff no shopper would ever buy in store. NOT cool! that is abusive to the online shoppers. Thank goodness i got a refund as this was dangerously deeply dented.
