Purchased for my bike hitch carrier
I just reviewed the hitch that I purchased along with the receiver lock w/cable. I haven't actually used it yet. The receiver lock will hopefully make sure that the bike rack doesn't start carrying someone else's bike. I feel fairly confident that the lock will do the job that it is designed to do. The cable is plastic coated so it shouldn't be hard on the bike's finish. The cable should help secure the bike while traveling but as you know if someone wants your bike bad enough the cable will probably only save it if they don't have the necessary tool to cut through it. Overall I am pleased with it.

Good product
Best price I found. Shaft has a collar so it fits two sizes of receiver hitch holes. Steel cable seems very secure.

Cut right through it
I bought this cable lock thinking it would be a solid locking system for my tools come to find out the core of this cable is plastic and they were able to cut right through it in one attempt it looks like. very dissatisfied with this purchase.
