A must have if you have movers and need to keep them out of places. Have twin toddlers so I need a lot of gates and this was reasonable price wise and works the same as some of the more expensive ones.

Great gate, easily adjustable, no issues installing it but it does not include the anchor or a paper model you can use for screwing in place for the instalatiom I think it assumes you are going to screw it into a wooden wall.

This Regalo 49-inch Easy Step Extra Wide Baby Gate works great. It was quick to set up and fits the space perfectly with the included extensions. The metal frame feels sturdy, and the latch is easy enough to open with one hand, which helps when I'm carrying my baby. Once it's locked in place, it doesn't budge or feel flimsy. I like that it can be pressure mounted or screwed in for extra safety. The walk-through door is a nice touch. It is way better than having to lift the gate every time.

Love this gate. We are using for our deck so our dog won't go downstairs. This is nice looking and very sturdy.

My son and his wife love this for keeping their 8 month old daughter from crawling near the front door... however their 2 month old kitten just walks right through the bars! Lol

Easy to install, sturdy. The drawbacks are: (i) swings only 1 side (ii) lock/unlock not as convenient as others to slide and lift with swing back to lock (iii) extension options puts door way out of centre.

This is a pretty good gate for the price, but the sturdiness isn't 100%. Had it for about 3 months and is starting to come down due to my dog and son pushing against it. But overall does its job just have to keep fixing it !

I installed gate by myself but needed 4 hands. The gate doesn't latch closed until fully installed so it was swinging around - suggest you secure it with string/masking tape. One thing to keep in mind is the gate sits 4 inches above the floor because of the wood trim in my doorway. It's a tripping hazard. As suggested in instructions - read all first. I used expansion panels, if you need to use, figure out which side to but the larger panel as it moves the gate opening over to one side.

Used the method to drill the caps into the wall. But when extension is used, the gate swivels back and forth at the extension points. Do not buy, not safe. Only safe if you use without extension
