I sleep with a fan blowing on me every night but my hot flashes still overheat me so I am constantly ripping the covers off me until I got this one. I can't believe how well it works at keeping me cooler.

I was looking for a light cooling blanket made with natural fiber, and this is it. It is a bit simplistic and very thin (hardly fitting the definition of a blanket). It has a cooling effect, because my husband and I were not sweaty with it. It shrunk a little after washer and dryer. So, I designated the shrunk queen for the full bed and ordered a king, which fits queen after washer and dryer. Consider that.

I had to combine it with an ark-chill blanket. This blanket doesn't provide the cooling feeling like the ark-chill does. But the ark-chill blanket is a little thin and can allow you to get cold. So I have combined the two. And it's the perfect combination.

Good blanket for the summer not too thick

It is suppose to be a cooling blanket. It is a very thin sheet. It is not cooling AT ALL! I was told about a cooling blanket that worked better than a cooling pad for a lady's dog. Having a dog with tracheal collapse issues keeping him cool is vital. I tried it for me ... not cool at all! The dogs have barely sat on it WITH COAXING! The slightest touch by their little claws (or anything!) and it snags! It looks horrible anyway so a few snags can't make it much worse! NOW I need to buy something else for him as a cooling pad! Major waste of money! I suspect it will totally fall apart if I attempt to wash it! If that happens, not a lot of loss (except $$)!.
