This is an Amazing thing. Anyone who is hard of hearing, This is your answer. And if ... like my Dad... Turn it off if you don't want to hear people. Either way, it's a win - win.

If you have a loved one who can't hear, this might be the solution. When I received the device I tried it out and the only drawback is your own voice is heard as well as others, but it's worth it. I bought it for my sister who has cancer and lost most of her hearing. I gave it to her today and she is delighted. She went in another room and asked me to speak in a normal tone and she could hear me! Has not heard normal voices since December. Had to speak very loud in order for her to hear. This is a blessing. When we left she had it clipped on her shirt! So happy I found this.

It was very useful in a hospital situation where the patient's hearing was almost completely gone after being hit by a car. Eventually, his hearing cleared up but this was a lifesaver.

This works great. I got this for my mom so she could hear better at church. Hearing aids are so expensive, and the don't work that good.

Works as intended. Don't know if it actually reaches 120 db as advertized (I don't have an SPL meter. Ear buds only come in 1 size, 2 or 3 sizes would be ideal. EATS AA batteries for breakfast. Am looking for a way to attach CR2032 batteries in parallel.

Amplification good but a bit Tinny and it picks up amplifies every sound when close to your body... To work best, like for watching T.V. , a longer chord, where amplifier was close to it and plug further away. Also, plug keeps falling out of my ear... need couple of different sized phone piece covers

Picks up the sound of clothing and sound quality is mediocre.

I thought I was going to like this Unit as I had one a long time ago that Radio Shack Sold. This Unit Had to much Static Noise in a quiet area and not a good Unit for Hearing Problem People.
