They are a great pair of sports boots! I ordered the black for my big bay tb and i love them. they are good-looking, cheap, durable, easy to wash, and serve their purpose. They are durable (the velcro is very strong, I was actually surprised because it took alot for me to get the detach the velcro so I know my horse won't) my horse wore them in races against my friend galloping up a semi highly weeded hill and the boots worked their magic. The picture attached is is a screenshot from the video of my tb gelding galloping at the end wearing the boots
These boots are super supportive, fit great, are easy to use, and look great too. The velcro is heavy duty, the fit is perfect; after working my horses in the arena there is absolutely no dirt inside the boot. The color of the boot is also vivid and bright. Would recommend these boots to all!
My OTTB just came off of stall rest from a bowed tendon. I purchased a pair of these boots for turnout. Even after some serious romping, these things stay put and give him fantastic support. I've read a few reviews about the Velcro being tough to undo when removing the boots, and it is. But, I'd rather take a little extra time undoing Velcro and have the piece of mind that they won't come off in the paddock. I'm very happy with this purchase!
Bought these for turnout, since my silly horse bangs up his legs on fences playing with friends in adjoining paddocks. Love the close fit of the neoprene, which keeps out the sand and gravel, and my horse is indifferent to having them on (and he usually doesn't like wearing boots). The velcro is CRAZY strong, so be prepared (read, awkward to manipulate the first few times). And I misjudged the sizing - he wears a medium in the SmartPak Sport Boots, which are a bit big, but the mediums in this were too small and he needed a large (he is 16.3, but a light-boned warmblood). But overall, they seem to be good boots, well made, and pretty durable.
I bought the hind boots when they went on sale, as I was curious about how these boots would work for my horse. He has an old suspensory injury and it's been recommended to me to use sports medicine boots for him, but I've never been able to find a pair that would stay up on the hind legs throughout a ride. I've tried a few different brands and they all sagged and/or dropped down his leg no matter how they were put on. I've used these boots for three rides now, including one with some jump work, and they have stayed in place quite nicely. I'm impressed with the quality of the material and with the fact that the boot does what I want it to. I like them so much I've now purchased a pair for his front legs too!
got rear boots for my OTTB in medium. Very soft and pliable so that mould to him, not like the one with sewn in fetlock area. seems are nice. Velcro is crazy tight.
The velcro was not gripping on my professional choice boots so I bought these and the velcro is so strong its almost hard to get them off. Nothing is more annoying than having boot straps come off during a ride, not a problem with these.
These boots are great, I got medium for my warmblood and they are perfect. They don't move as the velcro is like no other I have used. They fit so well that not even a spec of sand or dirt gets in them. Good support for legs.
These are very nice boots. My 16.1 warm loos took Ms front and hind. They are very sturdy and the Velcro seems sting. The reason I do t give them 5 stars is because the Velcro is so sticky that they are a bit of a pain to undo. But you do get used to them.
I do like these boots in that they fit very well, provide good support and are easy to clean but I have had my boots for only 8 months and already the lining around the edge of the boot already has holes in them and one of the velcros has ripped completely off the boot. I use them 4 days a week and wash once a week. I am very disappointed that they've started to fall apart so quickly.
