Generator cord
Northern was the only source found for the generator connection cord. Ordered & received within days!

Good quality power cord
This power cord will connect a 30 amp generator to the inlet box on the house which is wired to a Reliance Controls 30 amp manual transfer switch. The combination eliminates the need for additional extension cords from the generator and, when we lose power, it takes much less time to restore power inside the house via the generator.

Exactly what I needed
I've been searching for a generator cord that was longer than 25', but didn't want one that was excessively long. The 40' cord that I purchased was the perfect size. The quality was impressive too! The shipping time was quicker that projected, and I was able to put it to use before the weather turned bad to try things out. Worked great and put my mind to ease when I'll need it.

Generator cord
Just installed generator plug on my house to use our generator but needed a 40 cord to reach from generator to the house when power outages occur. I ordered cord from Northern Tool and arrived quickly in excellent shape. The cord was heavy duty with copper wire. Was better quality than other cords I seen. It will be used when needed and I am sure it will last years.

Reliance Generator Power Cord - 30 Amp, 40ft., Mod
The 40' is by far the longest generator cord and it's the heavyest (10 guage 3 wire + Ground). It's easy to find a shorter cord, even easier to locate one that's only 12 guage. You would be much happier by buying this 40 foot cord.

Works very nice. The extra distance of 30 foot eliminates both the noise and diesel pollution(from the genny) at the cabin
