[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try and review. Installation was easy. At least for someone who knows electrical... Sound was not deafening. It held up to my son's cooking (burning) food and smoking up the house. Would recommend to someone who is remodeling a home.

We put it in the family room, which is right next to the kitchen and also we have the fireplace in that same room so this is perfect. It works great we haven’t had any emergencies, but we do press the button to ensure that it is working.

And it has backup battery. That is great. It is very important to understand that we are protected. And it is not sensible for cooking . It has interconnected cable, that means all my alarms in the house start working.

I like that it came with batteries made it’s easier. The alarm is loud and clear enough to get the attention. The design is simple and looks mordent. It’s good, straightforward safety device. I would highly recommend it!
