Remington Shortcut Pro Self-Haircut Kit, Black, HC4250

I want to start by saying I purchased this at full price, this is not a sponsored review. I’m writing it because this product has quite a story with me. Many years ago, I was selected to test one of the early prototypes of this clipper before it went into production. At the time, I had a husband and three boys at home, and I was the one cutting all their hair. After using it for a while, I gave my honest feedback, I loved it. It made the job easier, more comfortable, and I strongly recommended that Remington move forward with it. Fast forward to today… I can’t tell you exactly how many years it’s been, but I can tell you this: my youngest child is now 30 years old, and that original prototype just finally gave out about two weeks ago after all those years of use. To say I was upset is an understatement. So I did something I hadn’t done before. I took a picture of my old clipper and did a reverse image search to see if it had ever actually made it to market. To my surprise and delight, it had. I didn’t hesitate. I immediately ordered this one. It arrived last week, and I’m happy to say it feels just as good as I remember. Comfortable to hold, easy to use, and clearly built with the same thoughtful design that made the original so reliable. If this version holds up anything like that prototype did, you’re not just buying a clipper, you’re buying something that can last for years and years.

I've wanted to cut my own hair ever since I started wearing it really short, but just wasn't sure I could do it. This clipper makes it so easy! No more 3-4 weeks between visits to the barber, or trying to find the time to go. Took me about 2 minutes the very first time, and now I just trim it about every week or two before showering with a mirror hanging from behind the shower head and a handheld mirror so the trimmed hair stays in the shower. Great product and great value.

THE UNIT FIT MY HAND WHICH MADE IT EASY AND COMFORTABLE TO USE. THE SELECTION OF COMBS, ONE OF WHICH, GAVE ME THE EXACT CUT LENGTH I WANTED 1/8 INCH. IT WAS EASY TO CLEAN AND THE CHARGE LASTED TWO ENTIRE CUTS. IT ARRIVED ON TIME, REALLY APPRECIATED THE FREE DELIVERY. EXCELLENT

Truly an excellent product. I don't usually leave reviews but I was so happy with this clipper and I have no issues with it. I have bought many hair clippers over the years and this is the best one yet. Remington's higher end clippers are the best in my opinion. cordless and water resistant are a added bonus. A curved and larger clipper blade is great innovation to the hair clipper. fits well in the hand. cuts hair fast, does not tug on hair. Love it! Only had it for a couple of months now but I hope it will last a long time.

I shave my head with it. Easy to keep hair about 1/2" could be shorter or a little longer with the included guards. I leave in on the charger and it's always ready to go. Easy to clean.

I use this to shave my head down to stubble and it works great! The curved cutting blade makes quick work of the job. It holds a charge for a number of uses. Overall, I would highly recommend.

I had a prior model (also from Walmart), so when it expired after a lot of years of regular use, I was happy to purchase the same item again from Walmart

When I received this product, the box had been opened and the lubricant oil was missing…

I was looking for a clipper to shave my head to be bald. This one didn't give me the result. Other than that, The clipper is easy to use, fits the hand nicely, and rinses with water after use. I like the wide curved blade that can get the job done faster.

I am unable to charge it, the light will flash like it’s charging, then go off. Unable to fully use it as the cutter will not work with the cord plugged in and it will not charge. So I am looking to return the cutter.
