Remington Smooth & Close Foil Shaver 3000, Pf7300C

The razor gives a good close shave. It needs a lighter touch than a floating head rotary shaver otherwise it could produce razor burn. If you are use to using a rotary razor then this is something to be aware of. The razor came partially charged. It did not take long to completely charge it so it could be used. The razor comes with a handy stand that fits onto the razor head so that it stands upright when not in use.

I say 'we' because my husband and I both can use it. I asked him his opinion and he's very happy with it, he says it shaves close and is very convenient. I too think it shaves close. It's not quite as close as a blade, but certainly the closest we've ever seen; especially considering the convenience! I've been using a Lady Remington for years and like that too---the main difference is that mine has a cord. That's actually a BIG difference when it comes to convenience. If I'm running out the door and see I need a quick touch up, I can grab his---- he keeps it sitting right there on the bathroom vanity, whereas mine is packed up in the closet. The reason he can keep it on the vanity is because it comes with a stand that it fits right in, so it only takes up a couple inches on the vanity! It's very easy to clean and comes with a brush. The charge lasts long too. He shaved several days, then I used it on my legs and underarms, and it still sounded just as powerful. The box says it lasts 30 min, but I haven't timed it. Another nice feature is that it comes with a pop-out trimmer and he said he liked that too. My only complaint is there's no indication that it's fully charged. A green light comes on when you start charging it, but it stays just like that no matter how long you keep it plugged in. But that's certainly not a problem, my husband just charges it one day after he finished with it, and keeps it plugged in until he's ready to use it the next morning.

This little gem is very slender and easy to grip and hang on to, it is not heavy at all. It gives a smooth shave and the little trimmer button on the opposite side is very nice and works very well. My husband was rather pleased with it, he said it gives a really nice shave and he said he didn't actually need a mirror to see what he was doing, like he does with his disposable razor. The shaver does not pull or tug at the skin while you are shaving. It comes with a very nice compact charger to charge it with. It has a head guard that covers the top of it, and it also has a little brush to clean the heads with. It is easy to slide the top off when you need to clean it. This would indeed make a very nice and handy gift for someone, especially someone that travels or is on the go a lot. When fully charged, it will give at least 30 minutes time of shaving, It says to let charge a full 16 hours and I did that just to be on the safe side so it would be well charged. I was very happy it worked so well for the disposable razors do not always do a sufficient job. I would gladly recommend this product to anyone and definitely give it as a gift.

I received this as part of the Wal-Mart Spark review program. This is a really nice razor.. It is nice and lightweight. It is really quiet for an electric shaver. It has a pop out trimmer for the sideburns. It does a really fantastic job shaving the face. It leaves your face very smooth and doesn't seem to irritate the face. It just seems to glide right over the face. It is rechargeable and holds the charge for a long time. It also doesn't take long to recharge. It doesn't seem bulky in your hand, seems like it is formed better for the hand then some of the other shavers. It has a little clip stand to sit on as it is charging. It has an led indicator for when it is charging also. The handle has grooves on it so it doesn't slip out of your hand. All in all this is a nice, quiet, compact rechargeable electric shaver. I would recommend this to others or purchase to give as a gift.

The Remington F3 Comfort Series Foil Shaver has finally given me the shave I need....Ok you may ask, but isn't she a woman? Yes I am, but I am very hairy and the shavers for woman just didn't cut it, literally. So I thought I would give the Remington F3 Comfort Series Foil Shaver a try and I'm glad I did, it gave me a shave like I've never had in my life. It is also so very easy to clean and even comes with a brush for that purpose. No complicated Shaver here. The Remington F3 Comfort Series Foil Shaver is very light, is does not tire you out from holding it at all. It is very easy and fast to recharge and the charge lasts so very long it is wonderful. It gives you a very close shave, that lasts for days. It also has a pop out cutter for sideburns, I just used it for the very long hairs and that worked too, which means you can use it to cut or trim your hair. All in all, the Remington F3 Comfort Series Foil Shaver is great! I was given this shaver by the Spark Reviewer Program for an honest review.

Being hard to shop for, I did not know what I was going to get my Dad for Father's Day. When this came up for review, I decided to get it to check it out. He usually has a battery powered one with him that he takes in his travel bag. I'm sure it had gotten pretty old by now, so I thought it would be a good idea. It turns out he was going to get a new one the following week, lucky me! His old one was also a Remington, similar in style, but the head was gray. He looked this one over and really seemed to like it. Before I gave it to him, I opened it up to charge it, but it had come with a precharge already. That was handy. On the side it had information where you could order replacement foil heads for it. Better than buying a new one every time I suppose. The cord was pretty long, the plug in for it fit snugly. It cut well and was easy to clean. Overall a great gift. I received this for free, but will be getting more for the other male members in my family.

This shaver gives an amazingly close shave! It is very quiet and the fact there is no cord makes it so easy to use and get to the hard to reach spots! It is very easy to clean and I would definitely recommend this product to my friends. A great shaver!

My husband wrote the following: I received this Remington Razor, model # PF7300. It comes with a nice stand to keep the razor upright when not in use or charging. It also has a beard trimmer that pops out with a push of a slide button The razor also comes with a charger and a cleaning brush. The very first thing I noticed when I started using the razor was how fast it shaved. I have a difficult beard that has several whiskers that lay very close to my face making it difficult for a razor to get them into the shaving head but the Remington did quite well. For those impossible ones to get into the shaving head there is the beard trimmer that will pick them up and cut them off close. All in all I think this is a good razor as it seems to perform rather well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this razor.

I chose this razor for my husband who has tried and discarded many, many electric razors over the years. I figured it was worth a shot for him to try this one, especially since it is very reasonably priced. Here are his comments: “This Remington PF7300 electric razor is a competent product as far as electric razors go. It's worth four stars when compared to other electric razors, but only three stars when compared to a real blade razor. I've been shaving for 50 years and have had 20 or 25 electric razors. None of them would rate more than three stars when compared to a blade razor. What I like: compact; comfortable to hold; simple operation; cordless. Also, price is a big advantage. It costs way less than many other razors and gives just as good a shave. For example: I'm retiring my $100 Panasonic articulating- head monstrosity, and will continue to use this $25 Remington.” This razor also has a trimmer built in that is hidden flush with the body of the razor until you pop it up when you need it. This will be handy for trimming sideburns, beards, or having your wife trim the back of your neck.

I have only been using an electric shaver for about 5 years, having always used a blade type shaver in the past. The pluses to this shaver are the fact that it is a fast charging and easy to hold item. It is easy to clean and the stand is a plus. I found that on my beard, which is heavy, it did not quite get a close enough shave. It was not something you could see, but it could be felt with your hand, and my wife said it was a bit rough still. I also found it produces a lot of vibration and is not very quiet. I think it would be a good shaver for someone just starting out shaving and did not have a heavy beard yet. For me it just was not a close enough shave no matter how easy it was to use.
