Remington Smooth & Silky Electric Shaver, Pink, WDF4821US

I have been needing a new razor for quite some time. I have looked around at many sites reading reviews, only to be discouraged, frustrated and not buying anything. I resorted to using my husbands old razor on my legs and my very very old Remington under my arms. That old Remington finally got to where it wasn't even cutting anymore I had to do something. I decided that I had good luck with it for many years so I would take a chance with another, crossing my fingers. Giving a very honest review..... you will not get a smoother closer cut with any electric razor than you do with this one. Those that are complaining about the cut need to move on to a blade. As for cuts and scrapes, if you damage the foil head it will cut you. Do not use the brush to clean the foil head because it is very delicate and will get damaged. Run the foil head under warm water to clean and do not touch it with anything else. The cutting head/blade can be cleaned with the brush and or run under water. If you care for this razor properly it works great and Im very happy with it. I have used it multiple times prior to writing this review. If it lasts even half as long as my last Remington did I will be thrilled.

I love this razor. It doesnt nick my skin and I can use it wet or dry. I stopped using disposable razors years ago and I have tried several electric razors. I like the wick charging cord and it hold charge for a long time. It comes with a cute carrying case that I can take anywhere. The guard and attachments give me multiple grooming options. Im very satisfied with my purchase.

Started off with a $10 battery operated shaver as I thought rechargeable things never really work well and run out in the middle of a job. But I stand corrected, This shaver worked straight out of the box without charging (really) and gave a smooth simple shave which seems to be lasting longer than the cheap shave which was rough and grew back too quick. Easy to use and gentle on your skin. Would recommend this and will think twice about other rechargeable items now.

Since I was unhappy with a less expensive Remington I purchased in store, I decided I would order this more expensive one, not found in our local store. I had liked and used an older Remington for years. Although this Remington was more expensive, the results were well worth the additional cost. The less expensive one performed poorly compared to this one. In fact, there is no comparison. This razor gives you a good, smooth, quick shave and, perhaps, has an extra blade. The less expensive one did not perform well at all, after shaving over and over again each time. I never got a smooth shave ever. Now I have an almost new razor that I will never use again, assuming it cannot be returned, since it has been used and the receipt lost. If you are purchasing a new razor, pay the extra money and order this one. Additionally, this razor is $5.00 less than the Amazon price, which is an added bonus.

I love it! I had an older Remington that I loved, it lasted for about 3 years and then I couldn't find the blades anymore. I tried the next model pink wet/dry. I was never satisfied. This one however is fantastic! The first time I used it was on longer winter leg hair and it was like a hot knife through butter. Smooth shave in one stroke. It took all of 5 minutes to shave my legs! It wasn't perfect and left a little picky feeling but no hair was visible to the eye. I haven't used it in the shower yet but I can say it works well dry with no razor burn. Definitely worth it to me!!

My old Remington worked so perfectly for so many years (over 35) that there was no doubt the brand of shaver I would purchase next. The Smooth and Silky shaver works flawlessly. It cleanly removes all hair and leaves my skin smooth (no red, irritated pores). Its ergonomic design makes it easy to handle, and it handles all the curves. The price is quite economical too.

I thought this product would work well and throw away the box so I can't return it but you have to go over an area at least five times before it's effective so it takes five times longer to shave than a regular razor would but the only upside is I don't cut myself. I don't use this on my legs. Only my arms and hands that I like hair free.

What a retailer's dream come true! Now that all the electric razors have that micro screen, there is really nothing that is a good buy anymore. The screens wear out and without any warning, one day they stop shaving and rake up your leg. Then you know it is time to get the screen replacement. When you go to check on where to get it, you find out that it costs as much or more than the original razor. So while your leg is healing you wait for your order of a new razor to arrive. Then when you try to get the battery out so you can recycle it before throwing the broken one away, you realize there is no way you can do that since your fingers are too arthritic to pull the part necessary. Anyway, this razor is the best overall buy I can find that will actually shave something.

I was not happy with the quality of the shaver when I first received this product, but I kept using it in hopes that it would get better. It didn't, and it got worse one day when the shaver would not turn off no matter what we did. This is also a loud shaver - annoying when you're shaving but intolerable when it won't turn off. Hopefully I just received a defective product. I've requested a refund and I'm happy to update my rating once I find out if customer service is helpful or not.

It was used!!! I paid $50 for a NEW shaver and got one that had been used! Beware buying from Walmart online! Needless to say, I don't plan on buying ANYTHING from Walmart online again!!
