Great product
When connected to the Smart batteries you can monitor status, charge and discharge time, in real time. It leaves no guessing.

Bluetooth bt-2
I love this item I mos definitely recommend this item, but the 12v 20A portable charger from renogy I will not recommend at all it gets so dam hot to the touch,

Extreme range and connection improvement over BT-1
Using the BT-2 with the Rover Elite 20A. I previously had the BT-1 with the Renogy Wanderer Li 30A. You had to be close to the BT-1 to maintain a communication stream. But with the BT-2, I was able to be on the other side of my house and on a different floor and still was able to link the Renogy app with the BT-2. Very satisfying not having to walk back to make a connection like the BT-1.

Simple to get going just download the App. Consider this and your phone the display unit for the Renogy MPPT/DC to DC Charger.

works great just one flaw.90% there
lots of information available. still learning what it all means. love the real time data from the controller. installation is literally a snap. 4 stars because when the app is running and switch to another app that uses bluetooth, the BT-2 app will stop running and state something to the effect of "lost communications". restarting the app solves it but annoying.

A decent solution
Functional piece of equipment. I would have preferred a much shorter cable or even just an RS-485 port so I could plug my own cable in. I can't imagine a use case in which I would need 10 feet of cable for a bluetooth module.

Small unit works well - app is simple
BT works great (iPhone 13); the app is simple but it does tell everything you want to know. You do need to set up an account on their website, which I dislike (-1 star for less privacy) It seems the choice was this or a stand alone display and this one seems handier where space is limited.

Bluetooth app
Needs improvement, doesn't stay connected with app. The App also doesn't remember the device. Have to hit add device every time i open the app. Then it says it already exists. User error? Not sure. Do like that is does give me the information on what's being produced.

Don't buy
Did not work for me. Tried for hours and could not get to work correctly. Sent it back. So far not refund.
