Easy to set up. I used 3/0 cable to power the inverter and the cable fits well into the covers provided on the back of the unit. Still need to get an electrician friend to stop by and assist in hooking up the ac lines so I can use it to charge my batteries off of the grid.
Great unit and great price. Replaced factory Converter in my 5th wheel with this to be able to charge batteries safely and run some 110v appliances. Should have gotten a 2000w to be able to run multiple devices at once but this one will work for now.
Great value. Works as expected. I purchased the remote screen too. I hope it has quality parts to make it last.
Worked perfectly right out of the box. Never a problem
This is the exact same inverter as the AIMS branded model that you'll find on other sites. Had a problem with my first unit, renogy replaced at no charge and have been up and running since for over a year with no issue. Running a 24v 1200 watt array into a 12v battery bank with this inverter to power my house off grid. Idle power consumption runs around 20 watts and the charger feature that you can hard wire into a generator is a great backup for long periods of clouds. All in all it's a great unit for the price.
The 1000 watt does a good job for me. The last one I put in a job trailer for power away from utilities. I plan on using more of them.
Excellent product so far. Performs well with 100 amp gel battery. Charging program meets needs of battery. Look forward to to it's permanent install in cargo conversion.
Not installed yet but would not have any other brand! Also installing a 3000 watt stand alone Renogy inverter with 8 100 watt Renogy solar panels feeding my 4 100 amp Renogy AGM batteries. Renogy is the way to go! Wish I had enough money to go Lithium, maybe down the road! Buy Renogy - you will not regret it!!!!
This appears to be a very well built piece of equipment. Need some time to test capabilities and reliability. As this is designed for hard wired installations in RVs, boats, cabins, homes, etc. It is disappointing to not see any UL, ETL, CSA, FM listings or approvals on this unit.
Why does thius not worl suposedly with lithium? The output settings have sufficient voltages.
