Renogy Advanced Rover Li 40 Amp 12V/24V DC Input MPPT Solar Charge Controller with Bluetooth and LCD screen and multiple LED indicators

Works fantastic I am using four controllers to the same battery bank. They work very well together. They change to demands by .25 amp increase or decrease. I am able to collect all power from my 4 300 watt grids. I am able to run 50 amps power and charge batteries at the same time. Very pleased.

Renogy provided a very helpful set of channels to assist in my planning, purchasing, and setting up my RV for solar. I was able to calculate my base and peak load requirements, read the blog, ask questions via chat (that was answered within 24 hours), and get technical advice as my initial vision grew to include more capability for the future. The Solar Charge Controller with Blue Tooth added the room to grow, increased charging capabilities for my 200W system, and monitor the energy process via the Renogy App.

This mppt charger is working great on my 57V solar panel. I emailed Renogy with panel specs an they quickly recommended this unit. I'm happy with their customer service, delivery time and product performance.

The Rover MPPT Li 30 solar charge controller came very well packaged had an excellent manual while the price for this solid looking little unit is good! I regret to say that the temperature here is about 10 F and it's snowing and I have the mounting ready in the Caravan but have not put the Rover through the tests!

Thank you Renogy. The Controller works perfect in my RV to charge my e- bike, phones, computer and anything else that need to be charged while a maintaning charge to the house batteries.

I just completed the install of a 140w solar system on a small overland style trailer, which included a Renogy Rover 30A MPPT charge controller. I plan to use a 12V Dometic refridge, so a good charging system is a must. Once installed, the system brought the battery up to 100% within a few hours, so far I'm very pleased with the Renogy charge controller. A kudo to Tyler who stayed late on a Friday night to call me back and complete my order long after business hours had closed, he also helped me trouble shoot a wiring issue. Thanks Tyler!! I was concerned on heat production from the finned heat exchanger on the back of the charge controller, but so far not an issue. So far very pleased with the controller. Bought this for my first RV soalr set up but just recently picked up the Rover 40 amp controller since I decided to add some more solar array. I kept this 30 amp Rover and I am using it for a 200 watt solar suitcase that I am making. The Rovers seem to be a decent controller and good pricing. Watch for the Renogy sales!

It works as advertised. Very well built-built like a tank. For those of you that are HAM operators there is little to no RFI detected when the unit is placed 1 meter from your rig and the coax/ power wires connecting your rig. Closer to the rig there is RFI when there is a low light condition on the panels. I highly recommend this device and give it more than 5 stars. The only negative aspect of it are the battery type icons which are 1-2 mm in size-tiny!!! Very difficult to see. Comes very packed and protected.

So far so good. Upgraded my previous controller. Simple installation. LCD display is very handy to check system status.

Had lots more to say but this space is limited. Main point is to replace screw-type cable retainer mechanisms with proper 1/4 inch threaded studs with a nut, washer and lockwasher so standard battery cables can be secured to both the battery bank and the controller using the same socket wrench. PV screw head caught under cylindrical insulator sleeve. It should not take the skillset and intuition of a half-century of hands-on and an all-nighter to pull off installation of this erstwhile very fine controller. Thank you.
