This sensor is an exact fit for the Renogy DCC50S and simple installation.

Super easy to install and I just taped the sensor part to the side of the battery. Guess I will watch what happens when the seasons change. I watch it via the bluetooth device provided by Renogy on my phone. Love my renogy solar panels , BT and battery sensor. I am the envoy of my rv park and all the old gals come check out what I got going on.

I have experience with this item with an charge controller, works great for temperature compensation on lead acid batteries. Was gifted a 50a DC to DC mppt device, but did not have temp sensor. This device has ability to to shut off charging for lifepo4 batteries, but obviously I needed a temp sensor. Took an educated guess and bought this. It appears to work with it, but it would be nice if the device model were listed as compatible in description as I was unable to get any reply from customer service via email.

I purchased this as a backup for the system, I already have and use this product it's top of the line.

seems like it works good we will see when temperatures get up in the summer .

I have a Commander 40 controller. I hooked up the probe and taped it to the side of my new SOK 206 Amp hour lithium battery. My cargo trailer went over 100 degrees and shut down the controller even after it cooled off. I looked at the specs on my SOK the BMS has over temp and under temp protection. Not sure I need the TC probe?
