Renwick 10 Ft Patio Offset Umbrella with Crank and Base Stand, Red

This umbrella is the perfect answer to the blinding, hot sunshine on my 10x11 patio. It looks great, giving the patio a whole new "spa" kind of vibe. is sturdy and stable (with sandbags on the base because I choose to not bolt it to my deck). the price was so low that I expected a lot lesser quality, so I was happily surprised.

I had an offset umbrella from another vendor already that was worn. So this was a perfect replacement. I could even put it in the base from the old umbrella. It's big, covering most of the patio when up. If it's windy I just fold down the umbrella with the crank. I like that the fabric is tan so the color won't bleach as much in the sun.

Very easy set up and provides great shade. Bought weight bags of sand to put on top of the base for support when it gets too windy.

Nice umbrella! Unfortunately, it swings a lot in the wind, so we are going to return it because the location we want to use it (up on a deck) frequently gets high winds. Bummer, other than the suspension at the top (doesn't lock in = it has give that allows it to do that swinging), it seems solid!

Great for the price! Umbrella looks a bit cheap, waiting to see how long it lasts. It covers our whole patio, though, and it's easy enough to operate—just watch your fingers when you close it! Definitely need sandbags or weights to weigh it down—I wish someone would make an affordable patio umbrella that comes with a weighted base.

It swings a lot when wind is barely blowing. But I put a screw near the top and little bungie put a stop to that. if you are short gel a small step to reach without stretching or standing on tip toes

It is top-heavy and there was a gentle breeze and the umbrella blew over and cracked the base so I have to buy a whole new stand in order to use the umbrella again

loved the bright red color of the umbrella when we got it however it faded to a dull pink within 3 months. yes uv is going to fade it but in 3 months come on!

I have used this umbrella 3 times and the fourth time I attempted to use it, it bent on one of the legs at the base from the wind blowing it over. We had a heavy duty base with water inside of it and sandbags on top of the base. So there was quite a bit of weight on the base so I believe that is what caused it. But I didn't think a “metal” base would bend quite so easily. I now have a brand new, unusable umbrella.

Does not come with base. All other products make it crystal clear their product does or does not come with base. Renwicks title " Umbrella with Crank and Base Stand" is misleading and fraudulent.
