they are cut to fit so they are always a good fit. also they are the best bargain for your money.

Just as good as originals and less $$.
I have been very happy with these replacements for the MAF2 humidifier filters/wicks. They are a lot less expensive and we have 3 humidifiers that use these (ours and at our kids homes) so we started buying these to save money. I think they are just a 'tad' long but with a little patience - it's easy enough to fit them in our humidifiers without trimming at all. They seem to be constructed just like the originals and perform just as well. I am ordering another box today that should carry us through the long Kansas Winter. I will continue to recommend these to my friends.

Not a replacement for the MAF2 wick, as advertised
This wick is NOT a replacement for the MAF2 filter! It is too long for the humidifiers that use the MAF2 filter. Even if you try to trim the length to the proper length to fit in the humidifier, you have to have a cutter that can cut through the metal mesh embedded in the wick and can make a square cut. I would not suggest that you order these unless you have a sheet-metal shop.
