New pan for dog crate is made of heavy, durable plastic. Has texture to prevent slipping. 42 inch was a snug fit in the crate. It is a little higher on sides. It is easy to wipe up water spills and drips. Price was right. Good value. This should last.
Pleasantly surprised I thought I might get something on the more cheaper side and when this came they were just as durable as the ones that came with the cages also saved us 25 dollars versus the in store prices. Might consider buying an extra one incase, you never know with a Pitski ♥️
When we recently moved into our mid-century home, we put our small chest freezer in the pantry. A few weeks later, we had to move it in order to paint the room and found that it had 'sweated' and water had puddled on the original wooden floors. Yikes! We don't have a garage yet so we have no other place to put our freezer and I use it all the time. After racking our brains and searching the internet for something waterproof to set the freezer on, I found this Midwest dog crate tray. We weren't sure if it would hold the weight of the freezer but it did! And it's the perfect dimension, with a 1-inch lip that contains any moisture. We were thrilled at the price for this tray compared to something designed specifically for chest freezers. It's made from a polypropylene plastic mixture and is injection molded, making it much more sturdy and durable, which it has proven to be. Midwest Homes for Pets is a family-owned business out of Indiana and I love that! They advertise this tray as having multiple purposes but I'm not sure if they ever expected it to work as a chest freezer floor tray! Well - it does!
it came broke. I wrote a review to tell them it was broken and doing so it said return or refund, however I can't send it back bc there is no fed ex drop off near me and without asking walmart sent me a brand new one. so I appreciate that!
Our cage was a different brand bought at pet supplies plus but measurements the same and fit great! Was my fear it'd be a different make since different brands so wanted to share! Best bang for your buck.
Because I needed it and Walmart had it I didn't see it at first so I went to Amazon and they gave me a problem so I went back to Walmart and found what I needed with no problem . Thank you Walmart so much.
We have a new puppy coming this weekend. The original MidWest crate tray was cracked from multiple puppies. It was time for a new one. It fit perfectly in our MidWest ********* crate.
Fits perfectly. The dog destroyed the original because she learned how to slide it over. This replacement fit perfect, so we didn't have to buy a whole new crate.
although its for a kennel ,i use it for small dog piddle pad holder..Most companies that sell piddle pad trays they are made of squishy silacone, This tray is durable plastic...A big !
If your dog is not a heavy chewer, it might work fine, but it took our dog about 48 hours to chew it beyond usability, and the dog was in it for very few (maybe 4) of those 48 hours—very disappointing!
