Replacement REPH310190 Engine Splash Shield Compatible with 2015-2020 Honda Fit Front

This engine splash shield appears to have been made in Taiwan as stated by a product sticker as well as text molded into the part, which I take as a good sign of quality. The plastic is fairly thick (0.08") and very flexible at room temperature. It weighs in at 3.75 lbs. It may not be obvious from the photos, but it is actually 3 separate pieces connected by 6 metal bolts which once mounted allow for the center panel to be easily removed for oil changes, etc. Even if you only need to replace one of the 3 panels on your car, you may need to replace all three or be prepared to make some modifications due to variation in construction and attachment points. There is a thin adsorbent pad on the top of the center panel, presumably to catch oil drips. I should note to that while the part I received looks very similar to the product photos, it's actually slightly different (stickers in different places and no arrows molded into the rear bottom edge).

I was able to take it apart in the three pieces and put them on individually onto my car and that way I only had to jack up one side of the car at a time. I ordered the screws separately and they all worked out fine. I ordered this for my 2016, Honda Fit and if it perfectly

Inexpensive product and fits my Honda Fit 2019 EX. Keep in mind this product does come rolled and you will need to give it some time to flatten out. I was fortunate to buy this when the sun was still beaming hot.

It arrived pretty fast, pretty easy to install but does not come with instructions or attachment rivets or bolts but it was $13 to buy a rivit kit at Harbor Freight.

I only needed the middle piece but could not get it from Honda, so I ordered this. Initially I tried to replace only the middle piece. The middle piece is attached with bolts instead of screws like the OEM, so I had to move the clips from the replacement to the OEM only to find that the placement is not even close to the same, so you have to install this completely and at once. The plastic on this is about half as thin and significantly more flexible than OEM, and for a form fitting part that this is meant to replace, something that spans the width of the car, this is not a positive attribute. The flexibility makes replacing the bolts (or in my case installing them for the first time since I removed them to try to install only the middle piece from the start) very difficult as the bolt just pushes the clip out of the way and into odd angles so the bolt doesn't catch. It would have been amazing if this included the necessary (plastic) hardware to fully mount it, but it does not, you're on your own for that. Time will tell if this holds up. Given that it sags a couple centimeters lower due to the flexibility, I think it's going to scrape quite a few things more frequently than it did before, but I think Honda deserves some of the blame for the design of this splash guard and no longer producing OEM replacements. Since this was the only option I found, it gets some credit.

Didn't fit with original parts, thinner, had to jerry rig with zip tied S, and didn't stay on even a day after all that work.
