Replacement Top Post Battery Terminal

I installed about 8 of these over the past fews years bought all from Wal-Mart. These go on easy and I never had a problem with some of the issues in the other reviews. They're a better connection and they don't corrode like the lead ones do with the copper cable coming out the ends.

Ordered 2. I was used and broke. Will be returning to the store.

I put these on okay but it took a couple tries to get the cable to hold correctly, on the first. Second terminal went Okay. Had to stretch for positive terminal. Other reviews stated the terminal broke when doing this but it was okay for me. I worry about longevity but I am hopeful.

this item should be removed from the shelf. a big wast and accident waiting to happen.

The cable went on easily enough. The opening to attach the battery post(AN EVERSTART BATTERY) to is substantial small. Before the terminal bore could fit over the post-it cracked on one side making it useless. Problem is the terminal bore should be made of brass as the rest of the part is-it would be much more flexable than the zinc they use. I went to auto-zone and bought a good old fashioned lead terminal that had to be crimped onto the cable - a pain- but it works !

The idea and design is fantastic but the problem is the jaws of these terminals will not open to fit over standard battery posts. If you try to open them to fit the post they break apart on the jaw arm. This happened to both terminals that were brand new and never used previously. There was no reason these should break on first attempt to install but they did break apart. This is most frustrating when you have cut your cables to use these terminals and then they break after threading onto the cables for mounting to battery posts. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME TO BUY THESE THINGS ........ they are JUNK. I can not believe they are still selling them .......... I will seek a REFUND and let a manager know about this issue and how much time it took for me to undo what the terminals caused me to experience. Like the time it takes to undo the cable connections to these terminals after the terminals are used = it meshes the cable ends into the harness of the terminals and it requires patience and time to undo that mess. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Battery terminal is too small and just like everyone else it broke.

They don't fit interstate batteries correctly.

Bought 4 of these yesterday , first one went on great i loved the design , grabbed the wire good and tight , was actually impressed . Then i moved to the positive cable that had 2 wires .... i fought with it for 30 minutes . finally got it to grab both wires after trimming both down where they would fit , Then i started to tighten it down to the battery and snap ... it broke in half . In all , 2 of them snapped so now i have to do it all over again . These were the BEST my local walmart had to offer . I will be going to parts store today and replacing all 4 of them .
