I've been giving my cats "mani-pedis" for over 45 years now. This is absolutely the best design for both ease of use and ensuring that there are no mishaps when clipping their claws. The blades are sharp enough and spaced well so that there are no ragged edges like those left with other types of clippers. This particular trimmer features a great non-slip coating on the handles that's especially nice for my arthritic hands. A great product, a low price, AND made in the U.S.A. What's not to like?
Great nail clippers.. my rottweiler has thick nails and good sized also.. other clippers were either to small or wouldnt cut thru her nails. These ones are perfect one cut and they go right thru and shes not trying to get away. Easy grip and very sharp blade. Would order again! I recommend these to anyone with dogs that nails are thick or have large breed dogs.
Very easy to hang on to while using. They make a nice clean cut.Simple to use.Nice to know when the blade gets dull, you can get a replacement blade. The color makes them easy to find.I have a large dog and I'm happy I chose these.
I love these nail clippers. The blades are nice and sharp so it is easy to cut through those thick dark nails without much pressure. My dog is far less upset when I use these than if I use another brand
These are a small size perfect for cats. The blade seems to be sharp enough that it does not crack the claw. This small size would be good trimmers for rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, small birds like cockatoos and the like.
I have an 85 pound this clipper. Just will use the proper space Barely, It seems to be OK if you know what you are doing in our alternative to the dog's quick. In the nails A little on the lightweight side. but works great. You use a little cut at a time over several weeks.
This is a decent nail cutter for my Border Collie Mix- she's 43%23. I'm kind of nervous using it- but only because I cut a previous dog's nail too short once %26 felt awful. But this does the job well.
The blade is sharp, and the clippers are easy to use. The clippers are very quiet when using them, unlike my old set, so they don't scare my dogs as mush as my old set of clippers.
I thought this clippers would be really good for my dogs thick hard nails but it's not quite as good as I thought. It works and all but if your dog has really thick hard nails this is still a bit difficult to get the nail inside. I'm back to the grinder.
These are well built. Very sharp and cut the nails easily. But they are tricky to use as when held according to the instructions you can't see how much nail you are removing. There is no safety guide to help regulate how much nail you take..
